A relative has asked if I have seen Youtube videos of the streets of USA cities.
I recalled a video showing there was no outside line at a hospital in New York City a couple of days ago. Now I cannot find it.
I would expect there to be some Youtube videos showing empty streets, at least.
I am not finding them, so far.
Perhaps others, more adept at searching for them, can direct me to them.
My relative suggests Youtube is censoring them.
Any links to current videos, not done by major media outlets, would be appreciated.
The medias dialog is not making sense.
I’ve seen one or two videos...on TV...of Times Square. Basically empty!
A friend of mine has a daughter who’s a nurse in NYC. She hasn’t had much contact with her in the last few weeks because she’s working 16-18 hour days. The quick report she’s gotten tells of something resembling a war zone.
Of course the hospitals are either closed or on minimal service because of social distancing. It is the ED and ICUs that are kept busy.
Street traffic here is like a Sunday morning.
Try earthcam.com and go to the Times Square cameras. Looks pretty empty.
LOL!!!
Enthusiasms!
I live near a town of about 20,000 in rural KY. I’ve only been to town once. My wife has gone a few times for grocries. The traffic has not changed. It looks like business as usual except only drive in is open at the restaurants.
And she went to her favorite one and got her favorite dish. It was terrible.
Perhaps we should note/document reports and any evidence (anecdotal or otherwise)?
8~)
Been there...done that (Fort Knox 1969).Last night on the local Boston news they showed a webcam video of Interstate 90 (the “Mass Pike”) which is the major road connecting Boston and the western suburbs. At 5PM is was basically deserted...it looked like what you might expect to see at 6AM Sunday morning.
Did you see any individual postings that are recent?
People post videos of what they are having for lunch.
Where are the Youtube videos of empty streets in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, even Des Moines, or Indianapolis?
They should be out there.
I have nephew that is a first responder supervisor in Philly. He said the coronoavirus is not even blip on the radar.
They are still busy with the normal mayhem of deep blue cities like murder, stabbings, shootings, fight etc, etc.
I guess, like the MSM, you could find a video of an Italian hospital, post it and claim it is in the USA,
