Any FReepers with COVID-19?
Ive heard a couple today.
Thought it might be good to have a repository of experiences.
Feel free too if your immediate friend or relative has something to report.
And of course, if this thread isnt good enough, start another thread about fellow FReepers afflicted!
Our assistant pastor’s dad passed away last night from Covid19, but he had other health issues. The dad lived in NY.
Do not know anyone closer, yet.
It is the China Virus.
Maybe the Kung Flu.
Had kin diagnosed and hospitalized last Thursday. She was discharged today but her husband is being held longer. They are both senior citizens. They had symptoms since mid March. Headache, loss of appetite, food didnt taste right, backache and nausea.
Prayers to all.
It might be helpful if the afflicted could add information on age, when they got it how they feel and any idea of where they think think they contracted it,if possible.
Not one of those symptoms sound like any of the symptoms we have been told for Covid19.
As far as I am aware, nobody that I know has been infected. We’ve all worked for institutions or companies which shut down a couple of weeks ago, with essential personnel working under strict PPE and social distancing guidance.
I happened to be on vacation for almost two weeks before the shutdown. I think I’ve been out of the house three or four times in the past month.
Please say where are patients
I had mild symptoms off and on for a few weeks. Cough, mild fever and the achy blahs. Got tired really easy. Last few days though have been mostly clear. If no further symptoms show up over the next week or so, I may consider myself over it. Getting a bit tired of the house and really need to get out even if only for a walk or a trip to the grocery store.
Please include at least the state the patient lives in. If you give the city, then please still include the state. There are at least a dozen cities named “Glendale” in the U.S.
Not me. But one of my employees has an adult son that works in a Pittsburgh hospital. He was tested and found positive.
He is in his late 20s and is asymptotic.
Brother in law’s neighbor/friend in the marina - 38 years old, two/three days ago in Venice Beach Ca. How’s that for scary I don’t know if had any weird health issue still 38 yikes.
No fever or cough?
:(
I’m worried my 89 year old mom has it. She’s been running a fever since last Wednesday. Fell in the bathroom and barely made it to a phone when I happened to call her.
The doctors told her they don’t think it’s corona virus, but they don’t know what’s wrong with her.
So the poor chap is facing his limit?
They were verified positive, treated and one is still hospitalized for it. Maybe it affects people different which is causing some severely afflicted people not to seek treatment until its too late. I was impressed she was released so fast.
Yes, but the symptoms I listed are what stuck out in what she explained.
The employee of my wife was male, late 40s, early 50s...have very mild symptoms (low fever, light cough), and followed up with a test. Positive for COVID-19. He recovered on his own, without medical assistance or any special medication.
Location is Midwest.
