At heart the pandemic panic of COVID-19, growing as fast, if not faster than the spread of the virus, is a Betrayal of the masses.
With world governments shutting down businesses “until further notice”, leaving towns and cities like the ghost towns of the old west, it’s a contrived betrayal of the capitalist system.

Disappointed to see use here of the marxist term “the masses.” Almost as bad as “lumpenproletariat.”
It was intentional. The Dems claim to be saving “the masses” through these extreme measures, but what they really want to do is Destroy capitalism and reduce us all to state dependence.
No start date, no end date, just shelter in place as society falls apart. What a great plan.
Luckily I live in central Texas and not too much inner city chaos.
Businesses have shut down, many will fail. Promise of a check in the mail. How long until the bands start scavaging for food?
They already have down state. Social media reported where small town grocery stores still had inventory and groups from San Antonio raided the store and bought all the stock. Fighting in the parking lot generated a call to local PD to break up the riot.
Can’t image what will happen if this continues for another week or two.

All we can do for ourselves is stay vigilant and watch out for our family. The FERAL Government is our enemy as I see it.
I live in a very rural county with only one grocery store. We always drive 25 miles to the "big city" in another county to shop when we need supplies. The cost is very prohibitive and we will buy for a month at a time. People from that county were shopping HERE...crazy.
I just came back from from the grocery store where there was hardly any meat except a goodly supply of sweetbreads!
