Dr. Mihael Polymeropoulos, the co-founder and former CEO of Vanda Pharmaceuticals, joined Tucker Carlson on Thursday night to discuss the use of chloroquine in the treatment of coronavirus. On Monday Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, reported that the anti-viral medication chloroquine is showing success in fighting the coronavirus. ** An Effective Treatment for Coronavirus (COVID-19) Dr. Gregory Rigano, the co-author of the study, later went on with Laura Ingraham and then Tucker Carlson to discuss the results from the chloroquine study. Dr. Rigano announced that their study found that COVID-19 patients who took hydroxy-chloroquine were found free of the disease in 6 days. The patients were testing negative for the coronavirus in six days! Dr. Rigano also said taking choroquine could act as a preventative. On Wednesday night Dr. Rigano told Tucker Carlson that a new peer-reviewed study out of France found that chloroquine had a 100% success rate in treating patients with coronavirus.

No. There have been three independent small cohort studies, all showing the same results. I think the sites were Italy, France, and the US.
Hydroxychloroquine in combination with azythromycin effects a cure in six days. HCQ by itself takes longer.
how come they cant give it to anyone who is already critical, do they not have enough?
For critical patients the corona-virus becomes the least of their problems. By that point they are battling the underlying issues.
“...FDA and CDC dont like it at all...”
Both as useless as teats on a Brahma bull. IF we wait on those azzclowns half the world would be dead. Huge bureaucracies that are totally useless, especially in times such as these. Hopefully, POTUS will somehow bypass these jerks on this development.
“he wasn’t saying it didn’t. “
He didn’t say those words, but he implied it didn’t work — the tone. Seemed to me like he didn’t want to be one-upped by someone else. Dontcha know he’s planning to come in and save the day?
Seems that re-tweet by Musk is cycling and recycling a lot. I posted on another thread that I had sent this to my doctor who told me they are treating a patient with it at his hospital and the initial results appeared good. He told me he would let me know how it went.
A bit too much hype in this incarnation of the study news. But it is at least some positive news is always welcome
“FDA and CDC dont like it at all.”
It takes away some of their power since they didn’t come up with it. It’s a turf war.
Which is why anyone who is already experiencing pneumonia like symptoms should be given this drug BEFORE it goes to the point of needing to be on a ventilator once it reaches that point its pretty much a done deal
While encouraging, it is a small study with a sample size that does not meet the standards for approval, that’s why Dr. Fauci called it anecdotal. If you were fair you’d have also included his statments that the drug would be quickly evaluated in the proper way and that is being done. The author himself said:
“Conclusion: Despite its small sample size our survey shows that hydroxychloroquine treatment issignificantly associated with viral load reduction/disappearance in COVID-19 patients and its effect is reinforced by azithromycin.”
Determining what the right combination of the two drugs is will be a part of the ongoing evaluation.
You don’t depend on the work of one researcher...at least not ordinarily.Although in an “emergency” like this an exception might be made.
What Fauci is saying is he would like to have real data.
That’s not an issue for anyone in the scientific medical community.
President Trump is going to make damn sure this is available to sick people under “compassionate use” federal law he himself got passed.
He knows all of this and will push it ahead to save American lives.
Already being used. I know.
They tried to make Trump look bad because he gave hope.
Heres a protocol. One of many.

And I do understand what the scientists were saying. Sure it needs study but can use if needed.
he did it to put down the ELECTED PRESIDENT.
who should fire the little Fauci
At the Chinese Virus Press Conference yesterday I think they said the company that manufactures this donated 3 million doses.
Not sure if that meant 3 million pills, or what.
To open peoples eyes...
Guilty as charged!
There are many more cases and articles that are being suppressed. The fear mongering, lock downs and closures are not necessary. They will screw are lives up for a long time, for whos benefit? This was approved in 05 by the CDC, yet they denied a cure. Give me a break. More loss of freedom, new drugs or vaccines. This is already curable and has been for quite a long time. The prescription is cheap and made by 3 companies. I won’t go into overly hyped and misleading articles and statements (at this time), from the media and government officials (not Trump).
Individuals will in general, make prudent decisions when presented with all of the facts! That sure as hades has not been happening!
It will be a long weekend, sourced from many places to give... The other side of the story!
Thanks for the link. Am building quite a list!
If you find more send them my way!
Blessings!
I agree with you, maybe for the first time ever! He could have said something like While the reports of successful use are encouraging, much more testing needs to be done.
This might help:
It’s a mixture of two drugs. Just search 100%:

Anecdotal to him means that even if it works effectively, he won’t be convinced that it worked until he does trials and controls and contemplates his navel.
