There's a difference between warning the public to take a threat seriously, and throwing in the cards and saying doom is near.

On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough claimed that he "certainly" wasn't intending "to disturb anybody." But Scarborough then went on to predict the "very real possibility" that our "health care system collapses."

The President has been trying to block the breakdown of the health system. The Demshoviks and media are NOT helping and are trying to stop the effort at every turn.

I’ve already heard of hospitals calling for the public to donate masks and other basic medical supplies. They didn’t prep for this despite the obviousness to many of us that we would be facing this crisis here soon.

China lied to the world and instead tried to cover up the crisis. When they locked down a billion people we should have immediately gone into crisis prep here.

Absent some positive medical treatment news we are in for a long fight and are only at the early stages.

The rooting for a disaster has become blatant. The reality I see is still a handful of deaths from this disease in the US - tragic, but about what you’d get from a bad weekend of violence in Chicago or Baltimore. Meanwhile, our economy is being destroyed, people are being thrown out of work, my 401k is bombed out, and government at all levels is issuing orders of questionable legality, infringing on freedom at all levels.

I’m sure that collapse is possible, but we’re taking efforts to make sure it’s less and less LIKELY. Did Scareborough bother with such details as GM’s discussion about ramping up production of ventilators, Governor Hogan’s (MD) effort to add 6,000 beds to the state’s hospital capacity, the efforts of millions of Americans to go out as infrequently as possible to avoid catching or spreading the disease, the FDA’s efforts to expedite approval of that old malaria drug to treat it?

I doubt it.
