Swine flu killed 3000 in the first 80 days , same rate and number for the Wuhan Corona flu now. Later it was found the percent of infection to death was less than 1 percent, and swine flu went on to kill 12,00 in the USA in the first year , and half million people world wide... if people are freaking this much out about 40 wait till this year progresses, !
But though the rate of the ACTUAL deaths per day was the same for Swine as it is now for Wuhan Corona and Swine turned out less than one percent fatal per infection after testing large numbers of people was done to find out the real number , the 12,000 deaths in USA, meant 1 in 30,000 chance of dying overall out of a US population of 3 million and nobody hoarded toilet paper and oat milk unlike the hysteria we have now,,

Oh yeah. Starting with self isolation, curfews and talk of wanting the government (spit) to step in and limit what, as an American, we can buy at the stores.
Next it will be like the scenes from the Chicom, where people were barred into their residence.

We’re gonna know in a couple of weeks to a month if this is overblown. If it lives up to the advertisement then oh well. But if it doesn’t your going to see a lot of finger pointing. And maybe worse. When I’m driving around everything seems normal. For now.
The only thing we should worry about is how many are likely to die. That is not going to be known until it runs its course.This year’s flu season has just about ended, and they aren’t really sure how many will have died, but it is in the 10’s of thousands. There are two main kinds, one of which is our old friend H1N1, which they estimate hits 58% of the people who get the flu each year. If that’s true, and it is also and estimate, then it kills 10-15,000 each year. This 19 is coming on the heels of the regular flu so 2020 will be a high overall death rate, but whether 19 will be a lot worse we won’t know until it ends.
Next year there will be a vaccine and test kits and it will go into the whole flu statistic where it probably will be ignored.

Say you perfect the a flu-like virus to kill off a specific target population. The virus comes out and everyone panics then hides. Your virus isn't having the desired effect and the media is getting more eyeballs than they've had any time in the past decade spreading fear, uncertainty, doubt, best of all, panic over toilet paper and depends.
Not good for your virus reaching full potential, not good at all.
Might be time to tell everyone it's just the flu and call em' silly for being in a panic. That'd get em' back out to the flea markets, sports events, bars, and movie theaters, where your pride and joy virus could really live up to it's potential.

Still, just for fun, President Trump should announce he’s cancelling the next election. You want to see lost minds? That would do it.
That's the key right there. Deciding who is to live and who is to die. Happens in all triage on the battle field or local tragedies but if it's happening nationwide, expect to see local ABC/CBS/NBC nightly news interviewing the families of those who died because they didn't meet the criteria. And it's all going to be Trump's fault.
And that’s it, the predictions are apocalyptic and it seems they know little about the virus itself, and we know nothing. We are being told this is just the beginning and then there is Italy. My husband is a heart transplant, in his early 70s and we are concerned. He did play golf Friday, said he was done with the worry.
