Many doctors don't believe Corona has a death rate any higher than flu, which killed more than 20,000 in this country this year and got no media coverage. It's certain under !% and hasn't killed a child yet.
The panic over Corona is hysterical.
The drop in oil prices was caused by the Saudis trying to stick it to Russia. There was a failure to reach agreement of the latest OPEC pact and the Saudis are trying to squeeze Russia. It doesn’t have anything to do with the coronavirus.

It most definitely has to do with cv.
The Saudi and Russian spat is because of the drop in oil, which is caused by China shutting its economy down and the assumption there will be other slowdowns/disruptions and thus a low demand for oil.
Falling prices started this and the prices started falling because of cv.
Yes, I acknowledged the price war.
The price war started because oil prices were sinking because of CV.
The price war was probably unavoidable, but cv was definitely the spark that caused this conflaguration.

The difference is I’m sticking with the opinion of doctors who are actually in the thick of fighting the coronavirus hands-on, not just some spectators with opinions. But, we’ll see which group is more correct before too long.
I’m very disappointed in Trump right now, but not for political reasons, but because of all the misery and death about to descend on this nation when it wasn’t necessary.
Look, you can plainly see how contagious this thing is, look at the Cruise Ships. How much more so then is airplane travel. Air planes are people shoulder to shoulder in the same room breathing the same air for hours and hours. The only difference between the Airplane and the Cruise Ship when it comes to Coronavirus is that the plane ride is done and you don’t get to see the infected caused by it. However, the infection rate is higher for sure.
Trump should have not only stopped Airplane Travel from Italy and a whole host of countries a long time ago but stressed the danger of domestic plane travel, it’s not safe, not safe at all.
The medical system is going to collapse because we didn’t contain it, it’s building in most states now and soon we’ll be doubling every day. The hospitals are going to fail.
Trump is working on some kind of f@!ing tax break to help with Coronavirus? Really?

This IS a very nasty bug.
It is 17 times more contagious, and 5 times more deadly than the ‘common flu’.
If there are 20,000 deaths from the common flu, out of 1.3 million cases then the math works out like this:
1.3 million ‘usual’ cases times 17 = potential 22 million infected because it is more contagious.
22 million infected times 3% mortality = 660,000 deaths. (and I am using conservative numbers)
That’s about one out of every 500 people.
But there is more to consider.
This ‘flu’ has a high percentage of those requiring hospitalization and critical care. Not so for normal flu. When hospitals are full the death tolls will rise.
When stores are closed people will die from lack of other medications.
This could easily reach a million deaths related, or one out of every 300 people.
***BUT***
Just like the common flu, if you wash your hands and avoid sick people it can be a very mild flu season.
It is not time to panic, it is just time to make sure you practice good hygiene and disinfecting. Doing nothing is a bad idea.
