Democrats Fall Into a Border Security Trap

At his rally in South Carolina Friday night, President Donald Trump tied the Coronavirus issue to the Democrats’ preference for open borders:

“We must understand that border security is also health security,” the president said to cheers from the crowd at a reelection campaign rally in North Charleston, South Carolina, one day before the Democratic primary in the state.

“You’ve all seen the wall is going up like magic,” he continued, saying they’d “have 500 miles built by very early next year.”

“We will do everything in our power to keep the infection from entering our country. We have no choice,” Trump said. “Whether it’s the virus that we’re talking about or many other public health threats, the Democrat policy of open borders is a direct threat to the health and well-being of all Americans… Now you see it with the coronavirus.”

“When you have this virus… or any other problem coming in. It’s not the only thing that comes through the border,” Trump said. “And now just using this — so important, right? So important.”

Mexican health officials announced the country’s first two confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus on Friday, saying the patients are from Mexico City and the northern state of Sinaloa.

Mexico’s assistant health secretary, Hugo Lopez-Gatell, said a second test is still pending for the Sinaloa case, adding that doctors are “treating this as confirmed,” according to The Associated Press.

See the connection? Now, project things out a couple of steps and think what is likely to happen next. Think about it in the context of the ongoing feeding frenzy by the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies to politicize this virus by claiming the Trump Administration is not doing enough to protect the American people from it.

If the virus starts to really spread in Mexico, isn’t the next logical step for the President to use the Democrats’ own narrative to take steps to dramatically increase border security, to use whatever means necessary to effectively shut it down to non-commercial traffic? Isn’t another next logical step for him to take steps to accelerate the building of the border wall?

Despite all the howling the Democrats and their media echo chamber have done for the last three years, President Trump has yet to deploy the full powers of his office where border security is concerned. He could have easily justified declaring a full state of emergency on the border with Mexico years ago, but has refrained from doing so in favor of conducting strategic negotiations with the Mexican government.

But the Democrats’ own outrageous rhetoric, which is being used in their efforts to politicize this virus, is right now pushing him towards taking that exact action. The logic of the Democrats’ own narrative agitates in favor of completely closing that border by whatever means necessary.

Unless the Democrats suddenly awaken to their own folly here, don’t be surprised if you see that happen during the month of March. Wouldn’t that be some poetic justice?

The issue of sovereignty should not be allowed to get twisted into being propagandized as “White Nationalism”. Use of that term is usually directed when the immigration issue is brought up to devalue of the protections an American citizen have by being one. When allowing the hordes illegally entering the US through the Mexican border avoid enforcing the reciprocal 2nd class treatment that American citizens get while legally residing in Mexico which of course also includes denial of voting privileges..

Today’s so called democrats insist Americans must allow illegals storm in here by the hundreds of thousands despite their cost to us of billion$ in tax dollars,which is never enough. Tax money that should be going to our citizens for their sustenance,health,education,and housing even infrastructure needs. But Americans must do the tax flagellating punishment because we’re the very rich United States and must divert those billion$ to fill the needs of those poor illegals plus give them the right to vote. Sustained by our tax money which our children’s children if not aborted will be paying for.?

Besides flooding the labor market with cheap labor which reduces job opportunities for American citizens in a diminishing base. Highly infectious communicable diseases are also pouring through this uncontrolled border creating serious health problems.

This destructive utopian Mexican open border approach of even considering granting those who enter the US illegally through it. Entitlement to all benefits way beyond those of what Mexicans give to our citizens in Mexico destroys the value of an American citizenship. It is being promoted by the name callers in socialist circles known as the democrat party as well some republicans who use such terms as “nativist” promoting racial division .

What we should be doing is taking a very very hard look at our relationship with Mexico along with trade and its myriad miss treatment of Americans as 3rd class citizens and its claims on American territory . There is no doubt there are hundreds of complaints, if not thousands, from American citizens who have retired there. Along with travelers running to American consulates about conditions that are going unreported because of this Mexican policy

Why are we expected to allow Mexican citizens enter to our country illegally and offer them preferential treatment over our citizens allowing them to purchase land in their own name and voting privileges when an American cannot do either if they choose to retire in Mexico ?
