Just weeks after President Donald Trump was acquitted by the Senate of bogus partisan impeachment charges by the House of Representatives, a group of federal judges will hold an ’emergency meeting’ on Tuesday. The judges will meet to discuss the intervention by Attorney General William Barr against the abusive proposed sentence for Roger Stone and the criticism by President Trump of the proposed sentence and the federal judge overseeing the case, Judge Amy Berman Jackson, as well as other actions by Barr and Trump regarding ‘politically sensitive’ cases before the judiciary.

If I had to guess this is fake news as it seems like a huge strategic blunder. Calling more attention to the stone verdict makes the president’s case an sets this up a miscarriage of justice so large the president is morally obliged to right this travesty. All while setting themselves up to be the reason for judicial reform and en banc impeachment of entire courts then reconstituting them. Which needs to happen. Let’s call it comprehensive judicial reform en banc impeachments of entire circuit courts, elimination of fisa courts, the elimination of national injunctions issued by federal judges in and districts outside of their own on cases not pending in front of them
Is this meeting of liberal federal judges (I’m asuming conservative appointments outside of Roberts are not invited) fall under sunshine laws?
It sounds to me like a lot of the participants will need to recuse themselves from cases involving Trump or Barr otherwise a mistrial should be an easy request.
Federal Judges: The old Executive and Legislative Branches combined into the new all inclusive Judicial Branch.

The judge can do whatever they want. The media needs to shut up and start worrying about real issues.
And he serves six months and Trump commutes him before Christmas.

Barr should counter by holding an emergency meeting on corrupt judges. There is the whole equal powers thing.

Shameful, the damage he did to this country with his putrid "bipartisanship"...just setting himself up with a "Kick Me" sign, which the Left was all to gleefully do.
The American Militia ought to start holding meetings over Judges...
President Trump and Mr. Barr must be directly over the target now for this bunch of flaks to mouth off.
The Federal Judges Association? Can’t think of many groups whose opinion I’d take less seriously on such a political question. When it comes to reviewing anything related to President Trump, all too many of these federal judges have proven to be little more than political hacks in black robes.
Many of them are always on the shopping lists of the radical leftists interest groups in the country when certain legal questions arise.
They need to meet big time. They need to meet to throw Amy Berman Jackson’s butt off the bench forever.
McConnell cannot impeach anyone. Only the House of Representatives can present an impeachment case to the Senate for trial. Do you seriously think the Democrats in the House under Nancy will ever vote to impeach any of these corrupt Federal Judges who are impermissibly involving themselves political and Executive Branch matters? It is obvious the instigators of this “meeting” should be impeached for abuse of the power of their position and bench, but it won’t happen.

Certainly if any of the appellate level justices participate in this travesty, then Stone’s right to a fair hearing of his case is hopelessly compromised at the appellate level. I would hope that none of them is so stupid as to participate. If I were any of the attorneys who ever plead a case for the President in the future, the first thing I would query a Federal Judge would be did you participate in this conference call. If so, I would move immediately for recusal for bias regardless of what the judge might say as to what position he/she may claim was taken in the call. The judge’s mere participation puts their impartiality into question.
