Think about it Michael Avenatti is that coke-head guy in Die Hard who sits down in front of the head terrorist and says, Hans, bubby I can give im to ya.

Get used to hearing the name Jensen. I really really really hate to quote Andrew Weissmann, but, the former lead prosecutor for American Gestapo Chief, er, special counsel Robert Mueller basically confirmed what I told you here after hearing the news that Andrew McCabe would not be prosecuted for lying to investigators: That doesnt mean that McCabe just gets off scot-free.
As reported by the Washington Examiner, Weissmann told F. Chuck Todd late Friday this:
Andrew Weissmann, a former Justice Department official who was known as Muellers pit bull during the Russia investigation, said the Justice Department swapped out the loser case of Andrew McCabe, who escaped criminal charges on Friday for allegedly lying to investigators about authorizing media disclosures, for a fresh one targeting top former FBI officials, including McCabe, led by Jeffrey Jensen, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri.
All they did was swapped out a loser case for starting an investigation that is going to be of Comey, McCabe, Pete Strzok, Weissmann told MSNBC host Chuck Todd.
The Washington Post also reported based entirely on anonymous sources, of course that DOJ lawyers mad their decision not to pursue McCabe after a federal judge who would have heard the case told them that he believed the case had been damaged by all of the Presidents commentary on it. Obviously, an Obama appointee.
McCabe, meanwhile, feeling emboldened by Fridays events, has been all over CNN, where he is a paid contributor. In an interview last night with Anderson Cooper, he and the host had this exchange:
Anchor Anderson Cooper said, Aside from being understandably anger about all of what youve been through, has it been in a way surreal? In the past couple of minutes, while youve been on with me, on Fox, theres a banner font calling you a liar. Did you ever expect in any way to be dealing with anything like this?
McCabe said, I spent 21 years in the FBI as the part of an institution that prides itself on fidelity, braver, andy and integrity. And to be removed from that organization and unfairly branded a liar because that was the desired outcome by the president has just been one of the most sickening and demeaning experiences of my life. Its horrendous. And it is unfortunate that having listened to propaganda like Fox News, theres, you know, there are many people in this country that will believe that forever.
Lets remember that McCabe ADMITTED to lying repeatedly to DOJ investigators about his serial leaking classified information to members of the press. Inspector General Michael Horowitz painstakingly detailed four instances of his lying to those investigators in a report issued in April of last year. We know he also lied repeatedly in his 2017 testimony to congress. These are simply facts on the public record today.
Andrew McCabe is a liar, and thats really all there is to it.
But the best part of that exchange is calling Fox News a propaganda outlet while doing an interview on freaking CNN.
My goodness.
That is all.
When all government ...in little as in great things... shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power; it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another, and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated." -- Thomas Jefferson, 1821
I made a number of points, none of which you can argue with anything but immature non-responses.
These are the facts. This is today’s reality and that’s my point you can’t rebut.
Not a single point.
That’s what makes discussion here and elsewhere so useless. People just spiel their feelings and can’t deal with any facts, even when it’s going the right direction.
General Flynn’s case is getting very rare and focused review on the prosecution.
Roger Stone’s case conviction is being challenged with a new trial application.
US Attorney John Durham’s investigation into SpyGate continues expanding and has hit the Pentagon, NSA, DOJ, FBI, CIA and into Italy and the UK. It’s not going away; the investigation has gone international.
But all you can respond to the facts at hand is with more whining. That is sad.
That person’s continued argument by insult is a liberal tactic.
It shows s/he has got nothing.
And you think its on DJT if he hasnt cleaned house in 3 years?
Get a clue.
He never had a chance. Near the moment Trump got into the White House his own party threatened him not to fire Sessions, authored Mueller Protection Act, turned a blind eye when Mueller hired 16 angry Democrats including Hillary and Obama lawyers to investigate him, etc., etc.
The 100,000 people working at DOJ saw all that. They knew immediately they had full top cover from the GOP controlled Congress to obstruct President Trump. Near everything since then at DOJ has spiraled down by that. Now POTUS gets to the heart of the matter with a few tweets and the swampers go bananas. That should be very instructive to every Trump voter.
Yeah, he’s investigating everyone in the galaxy now.
Fitton says Durham is doing nothing, just like those before him.
Except that investigators NEVER seem to WANT to build a case. Donald Trump keeping the corruption front and center via twitter is the only thing that keeps pressure on the swamp to do ANYTHING.
So true but I don't think he's got any "quit" in him. Thankfully.

McCabe Isn’t Off the Hook Just Yet
//////////////////////////////////////////
I heard he owes a whopping $10.40 in overdue book fines at his public library.
Barr is rushing over to pay the fines in untraceable cash from his own fashionable designer suit pants pocket.
Except that investigators NEVER seem to WANT to build a case. Donald Trump keeping the corruption front and center via twitter is the only thing that keeps pressure on the swamp to do ANYTHING.
Exactly. If Trump doesn’t do it nobody will. If the swamp is going bananas it confirms he is doing the correct thing. This is not the time for Trump supporters to go weak at the knees.
Good points.
I didn’t know Roger Stone’s wife is deaf.
How horrible to have the SS guards—I mean American intelligence community officer——break into her home in the pitch dark and throw papers and clothes drawers onto the floor and brandish firearms at her and her husband. How disgustingly cruel our Deep State has shown itself to be.
If that is America....
“Barr is worthless and Durhams investigation is just a smokescreen.”
Huber redux.
I made a number of points, none of which you can argue with anything but immature non-responses.
These are the facts. This is todays reality and thats my point you cant rebut.
Not a single point.
I gave you “facts”. Got nothing back.
I’ll try again:
Trump: impeached by Democrats in 2 months
Criminal Democrats: unprosecuted for over 3 years.
Where there is a will, there is a way. Provably, there is no will inside the beltway to prosecute criminal Democrats to the benefit of Donald J. Trump.
Facts, just some facts not the “galaxy.”
Tom Fitton does great work at Judicial Watch. He doesn’t work at DOJ last I knew.
As good as Tom does at Judicial Watch, a little hype isn’t beyond him.
I’m doubtful Tom Fitton would claim to know everything going on in the DOJ and would be in the position to know what US Attorney John Durham is doing here and abroad.
I’m pretty confident Tom Fitton wasn’t traveling with Durham to Europe.
I didnt know Roger Stones wife is deaf.
Also, Papadopolous’s wife miscarried after a day long interrogation sans legal cousnel by Mueller’s banana republic thugs.
There is a lot of ugliness simmering just under the surface here. That’s why the swamp went so bananas when POTUS got to the heart of the matter with a few tweets. To the swamp our lives are just political footballs to be used to politically defeat and ruin Trump. This is a bipartisan attitude, obviously. But real people have been assaulted here and they couldn’t care less.
AG Barr is on the job a single year. One year.
US Attorney John Durham is on the case reviewing the Russia Collusion Hoax even less than a year.
Your comparison is a poor one. You do appear to enjoy being eternally angry unless everything is done what you want in 24 hours.
The real world doesn’t work like that and complex prosecutions never do.
If some want to ignore the positive developments as I noted like in General Flynn’s case, that’s fine with me.
I won’t be joining those who prefer whining.
Yes and imagine if something had gone wrong and she would have got shot with the break in.
No one raided McCabe’s house after lying 4 times to FBI, leaking to press.
The raid was to humiliate Trump and his people. It was for optics especially since CNN knew before hand it was going to occur.
Just a minute. You mean McCabe the injured party and innocent public servant who just slithered out of a justice trap and is scot free to boast now? And the raid details were leaked to the honorable bias free media at CNN?
Who are you an honest pro-Constitution American patriot? Thought so.
Right. And if someone as ballsy as Donald Trump can be thwarted, how much easier is it to bulldoze his cabinet appointees and GOP lawmakers, even those with good intentions?
I dont think it helps anything to blame Trump, OR to paint GOP lawmakers, or his cabinet appointees, with broad brush accusations of being deep state, or compromised. Some are, no doubt, but the source of the problem is elsewhere.
Probably the most important impact President Trump can have in his eight years is not draining the swamp, but creating a rift in the MSM monopoly and discrediting the PC narratives that protect the deep state from the public eye.
He IS creating a rift - whether it will be enough to topple their house of lies - who knows, but their ability to run a propaganda ministry under the guise of a free press is where their real strength lies - the deep state bureaucracy itself is inherently weak, fraught with fallacies, inconsistencies and irrationalities. If enough sunlight could be shined on the deep state to see it for what it really is, it would collapse under its own weight, and by its poor design.
If President Trump can be protected for another five years I think this is where he could leave a mark - his own tear down that wall moment, but this time not a physical wall, but a wall of disinformation. That is all We the People really need to fix this - the truth about what has been festering for so long, right under our noses.
