Several months ago I followed my heart. I decided to take a stand, respect my principles, and opt to do right. I chose to do so against all odds, hoping for a better tomorrow because I legitimately believe that we are stronger together, as one unified nation, strong and indivisible with one another.
I embarked on a journey to be your next Congressman in the United States House of Representatives. I am seeking to represent the many good people in Texas diverse 18th Congressional District and am looking to unseat Sheila Jackson Lee, a long-term incumbent who has proven ignorant of the issues important to large swaths of the District, ineffective, and blinded by her hatred of President Trump and the electorate that sent him to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
For too long, I stood on the sidelines. I watched the country that I love be torn apart, our rule of law, and the very foundation of our government be dismantled to advance only political and self-interests. Somewhere, many of our representatives lost their path, they stopped believing in the American dream. Respect for our institutions has been extinguished, respect for our lawmakers is now only a distant memory, and everyday our hope for a brighter future dims a little more. This is unacceptable and wholly un-American.

By his fourth sentence, he is talking about diversity.
A couple paragraphs later he states that real “solutions” lay somewhere between the far left and the far right.
Translation - he will always compromise with the Left, and he will never hesitate to criticize the Right.
He accuses Pelosi of child-like unhinged behavior. He is completely oblivious to the goal of the political Left, which is the total destruction of the Republican Party and Conservatives.
If he is the most Conservative candidate who can beat Sheila Jackson Lee, I would vote for him.
But I would expect to see few consequential changes - unless he creates a one vote GOP majority in the House.
I have to agree with you. Although it’d be great to see Jackson Lee knocked off, the odds of that happening are pretty darn slim.
It reminds me of a guy who challenged Nancy Pelosi about 5-10 years ago. He raised a really nice amount of money for a challenger - but ended up with 25-30% of the vote. Nancy was never worried and nor were the Dems. It was wasted money.
There are a number of other races out there where donations could help knock off a Dem incumbent or help retain a seat for the GOP. Potential donors need to look for those races first.
According to the Federal Bureau of prisons website, Jackson Cosko at Edgefield FCI, a medium security prison in South Carolina.
His release date is 9/07/21.
Thks.
That is a pretty low bar. My dog's butt is sharper than Sheila Jackson Lee.
A liberal hispanic could primary her. Other than that, she has a pretty safe seat.
I don't know what would be worse, an old and decaying Sheila Jackson Lee or another Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
That's a pretty low bar to meet.
Agreed, which in and of itself isn’t horrible... the problem is not simply the vote on color, but that even when they have many options of the same color they do not vote for the most intelligent or the most cunning or even the most capable...
That’s the real problem. I forget who wrote the statement I made above, which I admit is not a direct quote but a paraphrase, but it sadly summarizes the sorry state of the inner city and the odds that it will ever get better via the voting booth.
I wish I could find the exact quote so I could properly give it credit, because it came from a book I read a long time ago, that was very very good, but for the life of me cannot remember its name.
Like the guy who selected the woman with the biggest boobs,
SKLs constituents will vote, based on the color of their skin, only.
And then continue to bitch that things dont get better for them.`
Many stupid congress people, those who are of a different skin color get a free ride from their stupidity, a women and arrogant a trifecta!
