EAST ST. LOUIS The East St. Louis School Superintendent Arthur Culver announced today that Flyers cheerleaders would be banned from performing the rest of the year after some of the team members broke out into a fight with Trinity Catholic High Schools cheerleading squad.
The fight between the East St. Louis and Trinity Catholic cheerleaders happened Saturday in the Alton Shootout. The two were conducting dueling routines at center court when the melee erupted.

You knew before you clicked, didn't you... LMAO,you nailed it. East St. Louis has not been a certain demographic in over 50 years and "Catholic" inner city schools have not been quite so Catholic for decades.

Imma guess, but I know the last White person left East Saint Louis around 1971.
At least one of the cops was white.

Looks like they were upset about the lack of diversity.

I was in Jr. High School in the mid-1960s. The girls who offered to beat me up because the boys they liked had paid some attention to me were all white girls, from blue-collar families.
This stuff isn’t new. It’s just less restrained, now.

Kinda like ghetto Haka.
Except after the real Haka, the players play a nice civilized game of rugby. Every time I’m watching a rugby game, my wife asks if they’re going to do the Humu (her word for the haka). Since I’m watch the 6 Nations Tournament now, I always disappoint her.

Should be a law against 200 lb. cheerleaders.
To: Enterprise
It was almost as though they were using specific hand and body movements to ‘talk’ to the other team in ways only a cheerleader would understand.
The orange team provoked by using their kicking routines very close to the other team. Each time, they kicked out a little bit closer to the other team. The orange team had a lot of fat, hefty gals on it, the kind you don’t want slamming against you on the floor.

I was waiting for the weave to go flying all over.
I just did a supervision of a boy in In-School Suspension. One of his crimes was he yanked a weave off of a girl’s head. He’s white, she’s black. The fact that she didn’t maim him showed a great deal of self-restraint on her part. I expect if he tries to pull that stunt in high school it won’t turn out as well for him.

By the body language of the cheerleaders at the start of the video, each group was basically taunting the other group.
Why would anyone think these impulsive young folks would be able to control their impulses for mayhem? Hope no one was seriously hurt.

Should be a law against 200 lb. cheerleaders.
At the very least, should be legally considered a lethal weapons, even under the control of untrained hands.

Where did these kids learn this behavior? From their violent parents. I'm so glad I live where I do, far away from this type of mentality.
