Multiple clips recorded in Wuhan February 2/6/20 showing Chinese people being forced into detention and quarantine against their will while screaming and resisting. Other clips outside a quarantine center where officials explain that they will not provide any medical treatment and that once you enter you may not leave. Final clips showing the quarantine center with large numbers of beds crammed next to each other with no toilet or washroom facilities, and no medicine or doctors.
These clips were originally shared by a gamer, hence the background imagery and comments. The gamer's voice can be heard briefly introducing the clips. The voice of the videographer (in Chinese) along with English subtitles are also provided.

I suppose that accounts for all the terrified resistance of those being captured. They already know.
Over and above the virus itself are the supply chain effects.

Wanting a good, concise source to share with friends/family who are just starting to pay attention (they are very late to the party). A video series would be great and much easier than sending multiple article links.

I thought about you, the other day, when I picked up several cans of my fave cocoa.
I bet the cocoa containers are made from (or maybe made in) materials from China.
If our last penicillin plant, in the US, closed in 2014, how long would it take to even start up, again, until production?
What other countries are producing penicillin?
If this gets into thailand, indonesia, malaysia you can forget coconut for a while. India? forget tea. Africa? forget cocoa. South America? forget coffee.
How much of the post harvest equipment in those countries, and ours, depends on parts made in china?
Even toilet paper.
Municipal water treatment chemicals.
etc.
I live in a small southern west coast town. Never seen so many oriental people here ever. (Sorry). Millions escaped Wuhan and other major cities..where would you go if you were them?
Whoever allowed that plant to move outside the US should be drawn and quartered.
We were making a similar list, last night. Just about everything we all use, in some part, is made, or relies on products made...in China.
Where are toothpaste tubes made? Shampoo/dish soap/laundry soap containers?

I wrote a previous article on FreeRepublic about Wuhan as China’s dirty little secret. My conjecture is that the Coronavirus is not nearly as contagious AS SOME PEOPLE HAVE SAID (Not to say it isn’t very dangerous), but that it has long gripped Wuhan before the sudden, urgent crackdown.
That doctor who reasoned he must have caught it when airborne particles got into his eye, because his eyes were the only part of him not covered when he came into contact with CoV patients? My guess is that he had been exposed by contact with numerous “flu” patients.
They’ve demonstrated there is no “super-spreader” effect, so if it’s so insanely contagious in cases like that, how have tens of millions of Chinese passed through Hubei without getting it? Cases outside Hubei are declining, and if the Chinese are trying to catch up with a disaster, it makes little sense to lowball these cases NOW.
I wouldn’t be surprised if MOST of those 250,000 “quarantined” people have CoV.
We’ll find out more from this disastrous cruise ship; for the love of God, can’t they get these people to some better designed quarantine than a CRUISE SHIP?
I have been on FR a long time. Follow a lot of these virus threads and recall having a logistical conversation thread with many outstanding FReepers regarding governments not releasing true information in cases of viral outbreaks.
If I recall it was on one of the earliest Ebola threads before the ‘big outbreak’ a few years ago. So it goes way, way back in the archives.
I find it funny, in the odd sort of way, that so many folks on FR are not grasping this situation. Based on the known actions that we have seen and what has been leaked, it is safe to say this virus is far more dangerous than we are being led to believe. Those who follow these things realize “brutal mass quarantine” of millions of people isn’t a good thing. It is a rare event.
On that thread from years ago we also discussed if the United States government would lie to us in such a circumstance. At the time we felt they would as well to avoid panicking the public.
So, I think our government is quite well aware of the danger as people returning are being quarantined. Even during the recent Ebola scare they allowed people to self-quarantine. Oddly, they are being detained at military facilities this time.
Did we learn from Ebola or is this really a “pale horse?”
