Goes way beyond meds and electronics, doesn’t it?

I thought about you, the other day, when I picked up several cans of my fave cocoa.

I bet the cocoa containers are made from (or maybe made in) materials from China.

If our last penicillin plant, in the US, closed in 2014, how long would it take to even start up, again, until production?

What other countries are producing penicillin?

If this gets into thailand, indonesia, malaysia you can forget coconut for a while. India? forget tea. Africa? forget cocoa. South America? forget coffee.

How much of the post harvest equipment in those countries, and ours, depends on parts made in china?

Even toilet paper.

Municipal water treatment chemicals.

etc.

Whoever allowed that plant to move outside the US should be drawn and quartered.
