Pure, unadulterated jealousy of Trump. It’s as simple as that.
Don’t know or much care about the President’s moral or religious background. Publicly, President Trump is the best advocate for Judeo- Christian principles in recent memory
I don’t want to pick on Mormons, and the ones I’ve known personally have been pretty nice people, BUT it’s naive to think that Mormonism isn’t a factor in Romney’s treacherous behavior. Fact: Romney has had a bee in his bonnet about Putin and Russia for years (remember Obama belittling him about that in 2012?). Fact: Putin’s Russia is extremely hostile to LDS proselytizing. It doesn’t take a great leap of the imagination to think that these two facts might be related.

So, therefore, the unspoken takeaway from Romney’s claim that he got his vote from God is that all the other senators rejected the clear voice of God, the voice that he hears so clearly.
Note that the article referenced is from the NY Slimes. Of COURSE they are going to slant the story so that Trump is the bad guy. They make a huge stink about Trump winning with only 45% of the vote in 2016 while Romney won with 59% of the vote. MISSING from the stats, however, is the performance of local independent (”Libertarian” my ass) Evan McMullin, who took in 24% of the general vote. Had he not been in the race, Trump should have easily taken at least as much as Romney won by.
Trump is, in fact, far more popular than Romney in Utah, and while Romney cannot effectively be removed before 2024, he will be considered a pariah. Hopefully, the current GOP leadership will keep Mitt out of any leadership positions for the rest of his one-term run.
How can any Mormons believe that they will be free to practice their religion if the Democrats win? They should be grateful for “sinful” Republicans like Trump who are happy to leave them alone.
But Mormons like back-stabbers? Which is what Romney is. You beg someone you don’t like to endorse you for office, and then you stab them, and the country you want to represent, in the back? That’s being moral?
Romney doesn’t represent all Mormons any more than Pelosi represents all Catholics.
And, I forgot to add, little adam schiff is a spokesman for God, according to Romney, who listens exclusively to God, since he is on the same page as the little disgusting weasel.

From who? Not the LDS. Sure, many Mormons are pissed, but those who control the church will not speak out. Just as they supported Harry Reid in NV. Again, Trump only took 45% of the 2016 vote in Utah. They do not like his “moral shortcomings”. They also picked Mitt over a solid conservative in the primary, even though they were well aware of Mitt’s liberal tendencies.
Again:
Romney needs to be kicked out of the republican party.
