I can’t help but think that, with this process, we’re going to get to the end and everyone will say, “What?!? This is what we got!?”

Sort of like a Democrat presidential primary.

Funny thing about “Windy” by The Association - was about 10 years old when I first heard it, and it still brings a YUGE smile to my face whenever I hear it.

Sorry to say, but Aquarius had almost as much support as Dock of the Bay.

5th Dim IS a great bunch of singing and arrangement. Sort of surprised they got a hippie gig. It’s still a great song even if we know the nonsense behind it stinks. So is “Hair”! LOL by the inspiration for the straight-arrow Partridge Family!

Figured ya had to be going cross-eyed with those lists.
Gotta say I wasn’t too happy with some of the match-ups. Was hard to vote against some songs, but I ain’t the one takin’ on the job and puttin’ in the effort so too bad for me.

It is NOT easy, trying to do play-off system based on 8s with a list that is based on 6s (with a few #7s thrown in).

I’m thinking of a new way to do this in the future. But this is how I did the others so I’ll stick with it maybe through the ‘50s, then maybe we’ll re-do with a new system.

I find many of the pairings hard, and frankly I like most of these songs. Some were easy to pick, but not because I dislike the “loser”, just 1 is so much more awesome than the other!

Yes, we will. Even great songs I’m not sure will really hold up as “the pinnacle of the decade”.

But, it’s based 1st on Billboard, then on my arrangement (no, I do NOT rig it), then on the votes!
