Alexis Isabel proved to be more than your average teen when, at the age of 16, she founded Feminist Culture, a Twitter account created to spread awareness and educate the world about feminism. The overwhelming success of her Twitter account led to the creation of her site Feminist Culture, bringing in a diverse group of writers and editors to discuss hot-button issues. Alexis Isabel (also known as @lexi4prez), was recently recognized as MTVs Social Star of 2016, and has been featured on multiple publications including The New York Times and International Business Times.
The Tempest: So, what inspired you to start Feminist Culture?
Alexis Isabel: One of my friends texted me and told me to watch the documentary, Half the Sky. It moved me, and I felt like I had to do something to help. I tried to find a way to help others, to help women globally. At one oclock in the morning, I decided to make a Twitter account and talk about womens issues and feminism. It took off from there.

How ironic that vile, libtard scum now use kids to push their perverted idiocy on the masses; I guess if they can’t kill them, they’ll use them in order to fend off criticism of the socialism and outright stupidity they preach to the masses on their behalf.

Why in the WORLD do we care about what some teeny bopper femi-nazi thinks or does? Seriously? This isn’t news.
This “story” is from a far-left rag, from 2016, and Twitter isn’t even close to representing a majority viewpoint.
Twitter gives a megaphone to morons, and the people who are active on Twitter are overwhelmingly left wing and believe their own propaganda.
So? She is trending, and you are helping her to trend even more.
Too bad. She has a nice pout.
I thought hate speech was a problem for twitter?
True, but why does Twitter get outsized attention and why do the leftwingers on Twitter believe that everyone else believes what they think?
Another spoiled brat that needs to learn some manners and humility.
Selection bias. “Journalists” are 95% left wing. 97% of political posts on Twitter come from less than 10% of the users.
The overwhelming majority of those are far-left lunatics.
“Journalists” spend a lot of time on Twitter because they think it is real life.
I’m sure that Harvard or Yale will be admitting her soon, like they did with that noodle-armed antigun dope from Florida.
No thanks.
Without a doubt. Her ilk decide who to admit. She’s got it made.
Yep.
Can we permanently block off specific twitter sites?
