~Ever since Donald Trump became president, he has become a dynamic and powerful global leader. Thus, his presence (or absence) on the world stage has the potential to really disrupt global geopolitics. In this sense, I will largely use his absence as the bellwether for near-future scenarios.

~First off, as the US continues to dig itself deeper into national debt (presently $22T), look for political leaders and “experts” to call for an alternative to the US Dollar. Technological advancements are now to the point that a loud and growing chorus will be singing the tune for a change to a new, digital currency. This may be staved off if Trump remains president. If he loses, however, and the Democrats control both houses, this will be swift move to abandon the fiat version of the US Dollar.
~Furthermore, an issue neither Republicans nor Democrats are apt to deal with is the rise of automation and artificial intelligence in the workplace. As more and more industries seek to bring their businesses back home, one way to offset the cost of the average American worker (which is considerably more expensive than Chinese slave labor) is to automate positions that are either low-skilled and/or repetitive. This is one of those unintended consequences that modernity brings, much in the same vein to what email did to the US Postal system.

What the hell is he talking about absence? He has been in ever leaders face. He has demanded fare trade and no more freeloading. Jerusalem has been recognized as Israeli’s. North Korea bitch slapped. Iran is in chaos. Trump as done more on the world stage then FDR, Nixon and Reagan combined

I really think you are spot on. Pompeo is the most prepared of anyone on or off the national stage. I too see him as the 2024 nominee. As one of his one-time constituents he actually returned a call to me—how many congress critters have ever done that? It suggests he does not see himself as the elite class and does not look down on we as peons.

All things considered, Pompeo would be outstanding in 2024. We’re in a long term war, both foreign and domestic.
When I tried to point this out to him, he got angry. I told him I wasn't trying to find fault with his writings, but that I was offering to help him ensure the scriptures he was using were of the topic he was attempting to write about.
After a couple more of attempts I gave up and I never heard back from him.
I like Pete’s articles and he has an amazing way of thinking outside the box on eschatology.
Now when it comes to disagreements with his detractors, yes I have seen him get angry at times (more than a few times actually - we’re still in the flesh after all). I don’t see eye to eye with him on a lot of things, but all in all I still find his articles appealing.
