Everyone has his or her own definition of a political crisis. Mine is when our collective mental health starts having a profound effect on our politics and vice versa.
It cannot be a simple coincidence that the two have declined in tandem. The American Psychiatric Association reported that from 2016 to 2017, the number of adults who described themselves as more anxious than the previous year rose 36 percent. In 2017, more than 17 million American adults had a new diagnosis of a major depressive disorder, as well as three million adolescents ages 12 to 17. Forty million adults now suffer from an anxiety disorder nearly 20 percent of the adult population. (These are the known cases of depression and anxiety. The actual numbers must be dumbfounding.)

It is not. The Democrat Fascist Party bots in the poltical/media class are the ones having hysterics. The rest of us are fine
Blame the Propaganda DNC Media, you know, like the NYT’s for instance.

America is run by fruits and nuts.

Too many people with worthless college diplomas can’t get a job? Trump Derangement Syndrome is probably a factor also. Running and hiding in your “safe space” all the time must get awfully depressing.
Anyone reading the NYT and believing it would be clinically depressed - the readers who comment on articles work in political and anti-Trump vitriol no matter the subject, it could be art or health, “TRUMP’S FAULT!” It’s hilarious actually.
Trump Derangement Syndrome features psychotic depression.Apart from that the country is most assuredly not depressed.
Depressed? Hell, I’ve just had the best year of my career. It was even better than last year which saw my income increase to more than it was in 2006.....for the first time since 2006. And 2006 was simply a normal year for me prior to the Great Recession and 8 years of Obama. Depressed? I’m thrilled! Where do I sign up for more of the this?
