If she loses her congressional seat because of redistricting, AOC will primary Chuck You Schumer for Senate. Thereby, Chuck will be actively working to make sure her congressional district survives.

This is a non-starter. If there’s one thing worse than being hectored and lectured by a monotonal hag like HILLARY! it’s being hectored and lectured by an empty-headed sheieking junior high girl like AOC!
Her running would be the best thing that could happen for the country.

She would have to reckon as well with the fact that Republicans are already putting in the work of driving down her favorability rating, much as they did to Hillary Clinton over several decades. Since 2018, Republican candidates across the country have used Ocasio-Cortez as a foil in TV ads and mailings.
We aren't driving down her favorability rating--she's doing that perfectly well herself. We're using her to drive down every other Democrat's favorability rating.
Even I know this is a joke, or the Dems actually realize how far up the creek they are.
If Bernie Sanders manages to pull off the nomination this year (looking more likely by the day), it will be a 1972 Republican landslide all over again. Vermont might be the only state Bernie can win.
That would drive a stake into any further AOC talk.
