By now you have likely heard of the murder of Sgt. Kaila Sullivan of the Nassau Bay Police Department. While attempting to take a violent gang member, with a lengthy criminal history, who had several open warrants into custody, she was viciously run over and killed. The suspect in this capital murder of a police officer, then went on the run for two days resulting in a city and county wide man hunt, that even had federal officials traveling to Louisiana looking for him. This search captivated the City and had everyone on edge on where this heinous criminal may be hiding. Based on an anonymous tip, likely spurned by a $20,000 reward offered by Crime Stoppers, the suspect was found here in Houston and arrested without incident. That should have been the end of the story, but unfortunately not in Harris County.
The suspect in this case, Tavores Henderson, has a lengthy, violent criminal history. At the time he murdered Sgt. Sullivan he was already out on multiple felony bonds for Agg. Assault Family Violence, Felony, Felony Evading and an open warrant for Assault Family Violence. He had regularly violated the terms of his bond agreements, with no repercussions. In fact, this suspect was so arrogant you can easily find social media posts of him bragging about being out on the streets.
Here is where the story takes a disgusting turn. After he was apprehended for the murder of Sgt. Sullivan, he appeared before a PC magistrate to set his bond. For those of you who are not familiar of what a PC magistrate is, they are hired by a panel of Judges (felony and misdemeanor) and they are typically attorneys or retired Judges. They are not elected and are not accountable to the people.

Somewhere along the way, we have lost common sense. Insanity has replaced it.
Versus this...
Should women only have desk jobs in the police force?
How much were police force standards reduced for her to make it into the force? Did that contribute to her death?
Unfortunately this poor officer was a weird bit of karma for the Houston PD for their flat out execution style murder of a innocent couple during a raid.
It’s a huge tragedy all around and truly a “sign of the times” we live in—yep insanity has taken over
The police chief wanted red flag laws for gun owners because someone in a domestic abuse case had obtained a gun and shot and killed a police officer.
WTH isn’t he in front of cameras demanding background checks for drivers and suspension of their licenses when they have a background in domestic abuse?
The only thing that get police attention in Houston is when one of their own dies. They fully believe the taxpaying citizens are expendable and should be kept under control.
Here he was boasting before he’d killed a cop.
Look at all the cash and bail bonds

Why is it that those with rasta locks and disheveled look were troublemakers?
Hmmm? [PLAY JEOPORDY MUSIC]
Anyone know how many officers were on scene when the perp got free, then behind the wheel to murder Officer Sullivan?
Bat-wielding boys, ages 12 and 13, rob man and batter cop in Lakeview
The bold is mine.
I don’t know but the Chief of Police gave an angry yet tearful press conference the week before attacking politicians who support gun rights and yelling at any drivers who might be caught in traffic jams because of their royal funeral for one of their own.
10 minutes long:

And then another funeral is needed because of police officer got run over by a habitual criminal.
I saw one early report that multiple officers were on scene at the time.
If that’s true, how in Hades did the perp get free to murder the sargeant?
Are officers so afraid of persecution/prosecution that they are putting their safety at increased risk because of that?
Are you familiar with the Second City Cop blog?
After reading that, I’ve lost any desire to visit Chicago.
Id like to take a baseball bat to those stupid teeth.

Even the Democrat DA has been complaining about the situation with the magistrates. Unfortunately, I think there is a good chance she will lose in the primary next year to a left wing candidate who will be just fine with violent felons being out on the street, to compensate for our oppressive system.
How can a dead Nassau Bay police officer be karma for something Houston police officers did?
Is a Bail Bond company required to issue a bond if the 10% is paid? If I were a BB company I wouldn’t risk my money on this guy.
The guy who slapped the reporter's fanny will likely be treated more harshly than this waste of skin. So will Lori Loughlin.
