The DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz finally released his report on FISA abuses on Monday.
The report revealed what we knew to be true all along — the FBI defrauded the FISA court and purposely omitted exculpatory information from the FISA judges in order to obtain FOUR FISA warrants on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.
Horowitz, however concluded that the FBI investigation into Trump was not politically motivated — and John Durham hit back.

“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened,” John Durham said in a rare statement.
John Durham was tapped by Bill Barr earlier this year to conduct an investigation into the origins of Spygate.
Mr. Durham has already traveled to Italy and other countries as part of his sprawling investigation into how Obama’s corrupt FBI and intel agencies launched and carried out the largest spy operation of a presidential candidate in US history.
Unlike Horowitz, Durham has real power to bring the coup plotters to justice, such as the power to indict and impanel a grand jury.
US Attorney General Bill Barr also blasted the FBI on Monday in a statement
“The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken,” Barr said, adding, “It is also clear that, from its inception, the evidence produced by the investigation was consistently exculpatory.”
The IG has his own rules and procedures to follow.
He is following the rules to a tee and he has been bending over backwards to make sure all peoples rights have been respected - to the point where being scrupulously fair to the guilty has made it unfair to their victims
There is reason for this and it will become apparent down the road.

The problem is, with the IG report coming out before Durham’s findings, the MSM will tout the big “nothingburger” and dispute/downplay Durham’s report as much as possible when it appears.

I've been reading the report and that is not exactly what Horowitz wrote. He was very careful to spare those in positions above Strzok, but made no mention of Strzok's motivations, or Ohr's for that matter.
I want to know why unredacted actual applications were not included in the report. Do they expect us to believe their bs and take them at their word after a snowjob conclusion ?
We were promised unredacted fisa applications, where are they?
What about unredacted communications-stroz -page? Seems to me they were evidence of political bias in those.
Barr and Durhams statements were completely pre-planned, you can rest assured of that.

Malarkey.....I said it over the weekend and many times before that - IG’s are useless and a big waste of tax dollars! We’ve been had if Durham doesn’t back up his work with criminal charges...

The Horowitz “investigation” was useless and a waste of time. He could only talk to the people who committed the crimes so all he got was “I didn’t do it”. The money he spent could better have been given to Durham who has the authority to conduct a criminal investigation.

Don’t bother them with logic. It seems too often now that people state conclusions without providing the facts to support their conclusions. When someone offers actual facts to debunk the conclusions, the response is always along the lines of “that’s not true” or “you are entitled to your opinion.” n other words, we have a serious breakdown in cultural morality as to what is right and wrong.
Maybe Horowitz’s appearance in the Senate committeee will get him to explain publicly why there is no political bias? Or as you ask - tell us why the FBI acted the way it did.
It might not be a coincidence that Clint Eastwood’s movie on Richard Jewel is out now. The FBI has been dirty for a long time; citizens innocent and guilty need to protect themselves. There are different rules for the common person.

I won’t hold my breath. Durham’s our last hope to get to the bottom of this coup, unless Trump appoints a special counsel, which I doubt he’ll do.
Every single one of the bastards is on record showing bias. Does Horowitz not watch the news? Brennan’s a friggin CNN contributor and Comey’s been on the msm plenty of times and tweets negative shit to Trump on a regular basis.
That’s like saying the msm has no political bias, regardless of research that shows 90% plus articles/commentary is anti-Trump.
