Adam Schiff always seems to get a free pass from the media.
Now he might finally face some real consequences however, and the media wont be able to help him this time.
Schiff has reportedly been exposing the phone records of his political foes and journalists, as well.
The Daily Signal reports:
Adam Schiffs Release of Phone Records Invites Legal, Ethics Scrutiny
House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., faces ethics and legal hurdles for obtaining and exposing phone records of political enemies, knowledgeable observers say.
Schiff may have violated the same rule he used to threaten House Republicans, said Tom Anderson, director of the Government Integrity Project at the National Legal and Policy Center, a watchdog group.
Schiff warned Republicans on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence not to reveal the name of the whistleblower who first filed a complaint about President Donald Trumps now-famous July 25 phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Schiff warned Republicans members if they did anything to publicize the whistleblower, it would be a violation of House ethics rules, Anderson told The Daily Signal.
He didnt want other members to expose private information of the whistleblower, Anderson said of Schiff, but he is doing the same thing to people who dont have anything to do with the impeachment process.
Devin Nunes, who has been directly affected by this, is talking about taking legal action.
FOX News reports:
Devin Nunes on phone record release: Were definitely going to take legal action
House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said Saturday that he would be pursuing legal action after his phone records were exposed in the release of the Committees impeachment inquiry report.
On Tuesday, the Committee voted to adopt and issue the 300-page report on the findings from the panels impeachment inquiry, accusing President Trump of misusing his office to seek foreign help in the 2020 presidential race. The report included records of calls from Nunes, presidential lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow, journalist John Solomon, Fox News host Sean Hannity, Giuliani connection Lev Parnas, and other White House associates.
Appearing on Fox & Friends: Weekend with hosts Pete Hegseth, Lisa Boothe, and Ed Henry, Nunes said hes been under fire for three years because Republicans continue to expose corruption, citing Democrats unmasking Trump transition officials and funding the dossier to obtain a FISA warrant on Carter Page
The Congressman is currently suing CNN for defamation after the network published reporting alleging that he met with Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin last year in Vienna in order to dig up dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden was demonstrably false.
As the Democrats love to say, no one is above the law.
That applies to Adam Schiff, too.
This is premeditated extortion. He's daring Republicans to oppose his will lest THEIR phone records get "released".
There may be nothing damaging in Nunes's records but I guaran-damn-tee you there are Republicans who don't want their records released because there is damaging information to be discovered. The question is, how far will they go to keep those records un-released?
A half hour ago I cancelled our AT&T landline. When she said, “Do you mind telling me why you’re cancelling?” I said, “AT&T has given private citizens’ phone information to Democrats, and we won’t support that.” she didn’t comment.
This akin to going nuclear...................
Because Republicans never do anything to their good friends on the other side of the aisle.
Ever.
“knowledgeable observers” = bullshit
Might've.

The only thing a dictatorial regime understands is force of arms.......to the death...................
Faggy Graham doesn’t want witnesses in the senate trial either. He said he’d go for a quick acquittal. Thats so Trump cannot call witnesses and expose all the Uniparty money laundering in Ukraine.
Exactly. And Adam Schiff knows he’s NOT dealing with a dictatorial regime.
I recommend and advocate violence...just sayin..
Sounds like our friend MayflowerMadam, has found the Magic Touch. Go after AT&T. They probably have a CEO who was chomping at the bits to release this and get Trump elected. i too am going to take my action against the AT&T folks. Good call.
So we now have permission to unmask the whistleblower, release the kracken. What will Sergeant Shizzleface do then?
All these worthless clickbait sites exist for the same reason of making money off of gullible conservatives who will click anything that sounds good.
Gateway pundit, IWB, all these no name sites are garbage.
“Graham doesnt want witnesses in the senate trial either. He said hed go for a quick acquittal.”
Is he really planning a quick acquittal? If the Democrats present their case, and there is no rebuttal from the defense, could it be there is then a quick conviction instead of a quick acquittal? Perhaps the powers that be have given “compromised” GOP Senators their voting orders. Given a choice between voting for conviction, or having their sexual liaisons, insider financial deals, or other dirty secrets revealed what will GOP Senators do?
The lameness of our age. Felony crime; high crimes is:
legal troubles.
legal trouble
legal trouble
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Schiff may have violated the same rule he used to threaten House Republicans, said Tom Anderson, director of the Government Integrity Project at the National Legal and Policy Center, a watchdog group.
Schiff-for-brains will continue to violate rules and law until he's stopped.
The Constitution does not protect him when their is “abuse of power” and/or “illegal” activities being committed.
