In an stunning development, Ranking Member Devin Nunes invokes an obscure House rule that appears to allow Republicans to schedule a special hearing and call any witness.
The Minority Witness Rule states:
When a House committee or subcommittee holds a hearing, the minority party members of the panel have the right to call witnesses of their choosing to testify on at least one day of that hearing.

I thought today was the last day of this charade anyway
without it being a formal trial, they won’;t have to honor any subpoena- but again, if you feel they will and feel it will be success- then more power to you- again- you apparently have more faith in the characters of liberals than i do-
[[based on zero facts, just opinion.]]
Lol- based on zero facts- yeah- we didn’t see any democrats refuse ot hand over material when hillary was being investigated- and we certainly saw no democrats fail to hand over evidence and refuse to comply-
lol- ‘no facts’ yeah, ok, whatever-
that’s what’s so fun about this...Calling him by name doesn’t name him the WB...Schiff would have to swallow his tongue...
call him by name and also call for “ the whistleblower”
ppppping!
BRAVO!!!!

Im glad he waited. Polls are turning toward Trump. He brought this up just before the holidays, now we can drag this out. The longer this crap goes on, the better for Trump
Schiff will just dismiss the request. Their initial goal was to try to gain public support for impeachment, soften up the voters. But the hearings have shown that the facts don’t support any of the allegations. There’s no consequences to the Democrats if their rules and the concept of due process are violated. The support for impeachment does not go beyond the rabid partisans. Being proven to be unfair won’t affect that.
I don’t understand why they wouldn’t be able to anyways.
that’s way funnier...
So this is a House investigation? Does that mean the Democrats get to ask all the questions? How much time are Republicans given to ask questions? I ask because I don’t have the time or inclination to watch an entire hearing.
He could then run in 2024.
“Wont happen. Schiff will ignore the request or Pelosi will have her caucus vote to remove that rule. Its merely an overlooked step by the kangaroo court.”
It will happen or the Democrats will be held accountable for it. Don’t be surprised if the hearings are suspended while this works its way through the courts.
None of the link work. Can you fix, or add them please?
I’m having a hard time believing this because none of the url links work.
Right - have the opponent show their cards, then show yours.
