It was a dirty job, but someone needed to do it. – All it took was a set of brass balls, which of course means that none of the male anchors or contributors on Fox or any other cable TV channel would ever dream of doing it. But hey, offsetting the cowardly acts of her male counterparts is why we have the great Mollie Hemingway around in the first place.
Since the long-term illness removed Charles Krauthamer from the Fox Report’s nightly panel discussions, Hemingway has become the real prevailing star of that show, although Bret Baier doesn’t invite her on often enough. When she does appear there, Mollie regularly lays the rhetorical wood arrogant NeverTrump jerk weeds like Stephen Hayes and Jonah Goldberg, or some female DC Swamp dweller like the insufferable A.B. Stoddard.
Hemingway is a true treasure: Never at a loss for words, always with something real and useful to offer, and never afraid to speak truth to power on any topic.
Sunday morning, she appeared on Fox’s Media Buzz program, hosted by Howie Kurtz, on a panel that included the despicable Clinton operative Philip Reines. Although everyone at Fox News, employees and contributors alike, have been ordered by the corrupt clowns who run the channel now to never, never, never, ever mention the name of the fake whistleblower – Eric Sciaramella – Hemingway, when the subject was brought up by Kurtz, essentially risked her gig by defying the male cowards and doing exactly that.

The look on Reines’s face is utterly priceless, and the dishonest response by Kurtz – who is normally a pretty solid guy – pretending to not know whether Ciaramella is in fact the seditious leaker is just cowardly and disgusting.
Hemingway is obviously as sick of the tiresome, false pretense of not knowing the fake whistleblower’s real identity as we all are, and she’s determined to not be a part of it. She is that rarity in today’s national news media – a journalist with actual principles and courage.
Given the cowardly and corrupt nature of the current management at Fox News, her effort to try to force Fox to end the absurd farce could well end up costing her her contributor status there. At the very least, it is likely to make Baier less willing to keep inviting her to participate in his panels. That would be a shame for the viewing public, but everyone should be grateful to Ms. Hemingway for having the courage of her convictions and refusing to pretend not to know how to pronounce the word “Ciaramella.”
