This photo of faith leaders praying for Trump has become an instant meme

Donald Trump has been pictured with a group of faith leaders praying for him and the result is an instant meme classic.

On the same day that the House passed a resolution to formalise its impeachment inquiry, Trump clearly decided he was in need of some spiritual assistance.

The Rev. Johnnie Moore, president of the Congress of Christian Leaders, told Fox News:

It was abundantly clear, he's totally unfazed by this. Everybody felt this way. This isn't actually about Donald Trump. It's about the agenda that he's put forward, the success he's had in advancing the agenda.

The reverend went on to say:

Evangelical leaders see this, not as impeaching Donald Trump, but they're trying to impeach me and my values. Donald Trump is pretty good at fighting alone but he isn't going to have to on this one.

People had a lovely time mocking the picture and all it stood for.

Great! Every time you make fun of Christianity 100,000 voters line up for Trump.

I am praying for you too, Mr. President.
I frequently do. It’s often a prayer of thanks, if that makes sense.

From your lips to God’s ears, but I am beginning to wonder about many of my Christian brothers and sisters. The proliferation of rainbow flags around many churches these days really scares me for the future of this country.

I.E. Thomas Jefferson “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever.”

Could be used in a targeted political ad.

That photo of Trump saying ‘they really aren’t after me, they are after you. I’m just in their way’ fits right in with the pastor’s words.

Its all about abortion, the left wants unrestricted murder and Trump is actively advancing a pro-life agenda. The left cannot stand it. I hope the idiots that are “undecided” can see the obvious right side of this issue.

I pray that Psalm 143 will also be PDJT’s prayer.....

9 Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

11 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

The violent annihilation of Christianity is the Democrat’s deepest craving.

“....my Christian brothers and sisters. The proliferation of rainbow flags....”

They are NOT your “Christian brothers and sisters”.

To me, one of the most profound statements in the bible is
Matthew 7:13-14 NIV (As spoken by Jesus Himself (red letters))

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction” (hell)

“and many enter through it.” Think of “many” as a per cent. What is “many” to you? 10%?, no. 30%?, no. 50%? at least.

“But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life” (eternal life in heaven with Christ).

“and only a few find it.” Think of “a few” as a per cent. What is “a few” to you? 3%?, 5%?, 10%?, Certainly no more than 10%.

I was taught that a “couple” was two and a few was three. Taken together that 50% number seems way too generous. 75% seems more realistic.

Being VERY generous, 75% of people are going to hell and only 25% will be “saved”. (I’ll stick with 3%).

So, many/most of the people you consider “Christian brothers and sisters” are neither.

Hell will be a VERY crowded place, Heaven, not so much.

He’s not ashamed of Christianity and his own faith. How refreshing in a U.S. President.

If you have a twitter acct, go and share this comment. Every Christian who uses twitter should be in there fighting for our President. I don’t do twitter.
