Greta Thunberg says meeting with Trump 'would be a waste of time'

Swedish teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg says she wouldn’t want to meet with President Trump even if given the opportunity.

“I don’t understand why I would do that,” Thunberg told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview that airs Friday on the “Ellen” show. “I don’t see what I could tell him that he hasn’t already heard. And I just think it would be a waste of time, really.”

Thunberg was in Los Angeles Friday for a protest rally by students opposed to new fossil-fuel production. She has drawn the ire of Trump, whose administration rolled back Obama-era environmental protections and withdrew the U.S. from the Paris climate accord. The president has frequently dismissed dire warnings from climate scientists, and in a 2012 tweet claimed “the concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.”

Thunberg’s parents say their daughter, once painfully introverted, was always a bit different to other children. Four years ago, she was diagnosed with Asperger’s, on the autism spectrum, which helps explain her remorseless focus on the core issue of climate change after overcoming depression. “Being different is a gift,” she told Nick Robinson when interviewed on Radio 4’s Today programme. “It makes me see things from outside the box. I don’t easily fall for lies, I can see through things. If I would’ve been like everyone else, I wouldn’t have started this school strike for instance.”

But Climate Change isn’t just a lie it is Propaganda.

Most of what Climate Change propagandist tell you is true and they tell it to you is a very convincing way.

It is the parts they don’t tell you that make it a lie.

And the press withholds part of the story that proves that Climate Change is a lie. Such as the fact that polar bear numbers are in fact growing and not declining.

So, if you want to know the truth you have to go out and find it. Don’t depend on your teachers or news papers to do it for you. Because they won’t.
