GOP Congressman Lee Zeldin (NY) obliterated Schiff’s star witness, US diplomat Bill Taylor’s closed-door testimony to the House Intelligence Committee.
The Democrat-media complex exploded on Tuesday over testimony from Bill Taylor, a US diplomat to Ukraine who said he believed Trump withheld aid to Ukraine in order to force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate the Biden crime family.
Bill Taylor, the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine started out on Tuesday with a 15-page opening statement that left Democrat lawmakers ‘gasping.’
The Hill reported that Mr. Taylor testified that US Ambassador to the EU, Gordon Sondland, told him that military aid to Ukraine may have been held up partly because of a push for Ukraine to announce probes into the 2016 election and Joe Biden.
Recall, newly released travel documents revealed that Adam Schiff’s staffer took a Burisma Group-funded trip to Ukraine 12 days after the ‘whistleblower’ filed a complaint against Trump and met with US Ambassador Bill Taylor.
Congressman Zeldin said Wednesday that Bill Taylor was using FOURTH HAND INFO during his deposition.
“One fun fact from yesterday — I saw the opening statement leaked — this is what happens. This is the Democrats’ strategy. They like to cherry-pick leaks,” Zeldin said before he stormed the SCIF with his fellow Republican lawmakers. “Turn to page 12…In that one reference to Joe Biden, it’s not first-hand from Ambassador Taylor, it’s not second-hand from Ambassador Taylor, it’s not third-hand from Ambassador Taylor!”
Zeldin continued, “Ya’ll making a big deal of Ambassador Taylor telling him that Tim Morrison told him that Sondland told Morrison that the President told Sondland that the President told Zelensky — give me a break! This whole thing has been a joke!”

Democrats on Tuesday also said Mr. Taylor stood by his previous statement to Ambassador Kurt Volker, “As I said on the phone, I think it’s crazy to withhold security assistance for help with a political campaign,” Taylor said in a September 9 text exchange.
What the Democrats conveniently left out is that Bill Taylor has zero first-hand knowledge of Trump’s dealings with Ukraine.
In fact, the September 9 text message sent to Kurt Volker was in reference to an August 28 Politico article, NOT because he had any independent information.
If the Democrats are basing their impeachment scam on a US diplomat who has fourth-hand knowledge of Trump’s dealings with Ukraine, it’s proof they have nothing.

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY), who is on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and was present for Taylor’s interview, told Breitbart News on Wednesday that Taylor had no direct knowledge of any alleged quid pro quo.
“There’s only two references in Bill Taylor’s opening statement to Joe Biden. One of those references is just a reference to the July 25 call transcript. But the other reference is this reference on page 12 — it’s the only other reference to Joe Biden. This is fourth-hand information — this isn’t first-hand, second-hand, or third-hand,” he said.
“This is [National Security Council Senior Director for European and Russian Affairs] Tim Morrison telling Taylor that [United States Ambassador to the European Union Gordon] Sondland told Morrison that the president told Sondland that the president told [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky that he wanted an investigation into the Bidens,” Zeldin said.
“Really that’s the best that the Democrats can do to try to make their quid pro quo charge?” he said.

I watched the ABC, NBC, and CBS evening news programs today. None of the three programs emphasized the fact that Taylor didn’t have first hand information about Trump’s alleged quid pro quo. At most they would describe Taylor’s testimony is that he heard it from another diplomat. Democrats supposedly gasped at the testimony of second or third hand information. This is getting ridiculous.
