Sounds like a scammer pretending to be Facebook.

Imgur is also starting to try and force sign-up, demanding a phone number and that you download their app.

FB is sometimes very entertaining.

They once suspended men for 24 hours because i was posting too “fast.”

I asked them, what is the limit for posts in what time frame. no answer.

4 times since I have been warned to “slow down.” I asked each time what is the speed limit. They can’t or won’t respond. So it’s like cop pulling you over for speeding and not knowing what the speed li it is.

Just on of the charming things about FB.

Just a thought, but Facebook has been called a “publisher” instead of a “carrier”. The need for positive ID could be triggered by Facebook’s increased exposure to illegal content posted by its customers. Having traceable ID on hand might mollify the LEO when investigations touch on Facebook.

I’d send them a picture of Zuckerberg. Or a monkey’s ass.

Same thing I guess.

I had the same request. They shut down my account. ... well, it was a fake 5th account, but still.
