I base my political beliefs on facts whilst I accept my religious beliefs on faith. The point is you cannot reason people out of something they did not reason themselves into.
I support President Trump based on facts. Refuting facts is the only way to diminish my support. What people I respect believe concern me if it appears they formed their beliefs without awareness of facts. If I discover I based my support of President Trump on false information I will remedy my position using the correct information.
Discerning the truth from todays media is difficult because the media no longer reports the news; they star in the news. Almost all negative reports, directly or indirectly, contain the words, if true.
There are few willing to engage in productive discourse when I attempt to discuss a particular harm or lie associated with President Trump. I have discovered that they oppose three different Trumps. There is citizen Trump, candidate Trump, and President Trump.
That is not my position. And as for the typical charge by liberals that one is a racist if even they make observational cultural distinctions, then that makes them racist. And they even support discrimination in employment based upon race.
