Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a filing to the Supreme Court on Wednesday that the company disagrees with President Trumps decision to terminate DACA, the Obama-era program that shields some immigrants without documentation from being deported.
″We are distressed at the prospect of ripping our DACA colleagues from the fabric of our company, Cook and HR head Deidre OBrien wrote in a friend-of-the-court brief. Apple said it employs 443 dreamers, or people that DACA protects from deportation.
The Trump administrations effort to undo DACA is part of a broader effort to restrict immigration, whether its through family separation at the U.S.-Mexico border or the imposition of a travel ban from several majority Muslim countries to the U.S. DACA and other immigration topics remain a national focus and are likely to be core issues during the 2020 presidential campaign.
DACA deportations could cost the US economy over $400 billion, according to a 2017 study. Amazon, Facebook, Google and Microsoft also oppose Trumps policies.

I try to never patronize companies that get involved in politics, I was planning on replacing my fruity 7 plus next week with an android because I hate the fruity software, I think it is crap and I hate being tied to the cloud for everything, now I will do it Friday
Heres what I noticed recently.
Obamas never on TV anymore, to busy with the coup I suppose.
Trump never says, thats not who we are.
What a blessing. ...not the coup.
And I don’t need a $1000 phone with 3 cameras.
Hire Americans Turd Cook.
#7 My car was rear ended and totaled last May and pushed into another car by a Indian who lived in Cupertino near where Apple is located. I was at a stop light with traffic stop in the lane next to me. Probably works for Tim Cook.
