Watch the nightly news and you will hear that President Donald Trump is finished for real this time. Apparently his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has all of the hallmarks of a defining moment of his time in office, and comes complete with an impeachment inquiry to boot. However, the last three years of polemic and bombastic “scandals” touted by Democrats mean that many Americans have already tuned out.
This is not because of some deep character flaw or disinterest in civic life. Instead, Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media have beaten impeachment fever on a politics weary country since before Trump even entered office. Many of the same people who would have normally been glued to the television watching acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire testify are now ignoring the impeachment circus.
Does this mean that Trump is innocent? It is too early to say. There are likely going to be consequences for his conversation with Zelensky. But the negative impacts may not translate into traction with the public. A Politico Morning Consult poll published as the story broke shows support for impeaching Trump actually went down to 36 percent. Moreover, only 33 percent of independents want to have the president impeached. A Business Insider poll shows while most Americans want to learn more about what occurred in the call by a plurality of 43 percent to 32 percent, the public also thinks that the inquiry will ultimately benefit Trump.

I'm wondering what they plan to put in the articles of impeachment, besides mentioning a politician of the other party while talking on the phone with a foreign leader.
Maybe they will have an article accusing him of racism (for saying that some of the Mexicans coming across the border were rapists...which had been reported in the news shortly before he said it).
Another article might accuse him of supporting neo-Nazis (using Biden's version of what Trump said in connection with Charlottesville).
Maybe they will charge him with inciting violence and thereby causing the massacre in El Paso (and maybe the one in Orlando for good measure).
Finally, emoluments.

No, if they had anything, they'd have used it about 0.012 seconds after acquiring it. They have nothing, that's why they are lying and blowing smoke. They're hoping for a conviction in the court of public opinion by slinging so much BS people start to believe there must be something there.
There is nothing there, but they have uncovered something. They have demonstrated loud and clear just how panic-stricken, how desperate they are to try to remove President Trump (which is a pipe dream), or to at least thwart him in any way they can. He must be genuinely hurting them. Good. I'd like to hope the American people are more astute than the leftist's give us credit for. As America sees just what the leftists and MSM are capable of, I hope they recoil in horror. I hope the leftist get utterly decimated in the upcoming election. America must reject socialism, all it's false promises, and the rampant corruption on full display from the left.

What most of the far left-wing democrat voters cannot seem to grasp is that the 2020 election will not be won or lost by firing up the far left base. The election will be decided by all of those middle class and blue collar voters in flyover country who now have jobs and can feed their families without food stamps for the first time in years. This includes a lot of black and hispanic voters who have never voted for anyone but democrats before but now see unemployment among blacks and hispanics at the lowest levels in at least 50 years.
Just like in 2016 but magnified by 10, they will never see the tidal wave coming until it crashes over them.
The left is pushing hard because they are desperate but We the People aren’t buying it.
This is a case where polls will be done honestly because the Dems really want to know, and as the days go on and support wavers, watch them back-pedal. Pelosi may not even call a vote to actually start the process if enough at-risk reps push back on her.
So far this is all stagecraft.
So what if democrat congresscritters have called for the impeachment of every Republican President since Eisenhower? Just like Socialism, democrats believe that THIS TIME it will work!
