If Democrats were serious about using red flag laws to keep guns out if the hands of people who might use them to senselessly murder others and therefore are danger to society, and not just as a gun-control tool to disarm law-abiding citizens, then why did they kill an attempt to use compiled lists of known gang members, which many police departments and law enforcement agencies possess?
Why did they kill a measure to red flag gang members?
And if Beto O’Rourke is going to come and take our guns, particularly our AR-15s, is he going to start on the south side of Chicago? As the Washington Examiner noted on September 14:

If you want to understand the real motives of the Left, watch what they do, not what they say. They say that they want red flag laws to keep evil guns out of the hands of criminals and evil doers, but what they do is to exempt gang members. Why? Because their real goal is to disarm their political enemies and the gang bangers are not their enemies.
So what if someone erroneously listed as a gang member is denied a gun? I thought the Dems were opposed to anyone owning a gun.

At the local political level I don’t doubt it for an instant.
Recently there was a video of some Chicago street players, and at the end they got out their guns. At first, I thought it was a parody. But it was not, they all had guns, appeared to be teens or in their 20s. What could possibly go wrong here? How many were possessing these weapons LEGALLY? I would guess, none were. If they were responsible gun owners, I have no problem with their carrying weapons, but I would question why they needed them at the basketball courts. But, the video was in Chicago, and what do I know.
My point is this: Guilliani cleaned up New York with stop and frisk laws. IN ALL OF THESE DEBATES, WHY NO QUESTIONS ON "DO YOU SUPPORT STOP AND FRISK, IF SO, RAISE YOUR HAND". Stop and frisk laws would save 100s in Chicago alone!

Maybe we might have to frisk a few grandmas, or 90 year old medal of honor winners, just to be fair. I got stopped and frisked once, but was legal, so no prob.

Armed individuals in service of the Democrats are Goons. Goons neither have to think or reason. The only have to do as they are told. As evidenced in the daily lives of those in the United States, the Democrats make full use of them. The idol of the Democrats, Lenin referred to them as "useful idiots".
