Beto O'Rourke's call for gun confiscation is just the next step in a progression that will ultimately lead to liberals demanding property confiscation aka Socialism. It might not happen in this election cycle but ultimately we are going to hear a Democrat candidate declare that "Hell Yes, We're Going to Take Your Property!" Then the debate will be between the Bolshevik Wing of the Democrat Party who demand total confiscation of property versus the Menshevik Wing who only want to take some of your property.

If Bernie is going to say it he will say it during the Primary when he battling his fellow Dims for the nomination.
During the General he will have to moderate as he battles for the center.
But I doubt that he will say it at all. Socialist always cover their true motives with lies, generalities, and euphemisms.

With the level of property tax in some states,they already are taking your property x% a year. Some people in IL are already paying 5% of appraised prices.
