President Trump is pushing for a government crackdown of California homeless encampments, pointing to the failure of local governments to deal with the crisis, according to the Washington Post.
The attention seems to be focused on Los Angeles for now, with San Francisco officials saying they’ve heard nothing from the Trump Administration about action in their area.
“I don’t know what they’re doing. I’ll believe it when I see it. Nobody has contacted us,” said San Francisco Mayor London Breed. “You think I know what’s going on in his (Trump’s) head?”
Over the past few weeks, federal officials have talked to officials in Los Angeles — which has seen skyrocketing homelessness numbers —about how to get people into shelter by opening up “government-back facilities,” according to the Post, which cited four anonymous sources aware of the discussions. The talks involve officials from the White House, Department of Housing and Urban Development and Domestic Policy Council. A delegation is now in California for the discussions.

This actually might be more fake news. Seems like they are suggesting that POTUS has said or done things, which are never specified or documented in the “article”.

Everybody in CA will love him for it. People are getting very tired of the homeless taking over their neighborhoods, camping even near schools.
I severely doubt this is true. If San Fran Sicko is proud of their filth, why would Trump interfere?

It’s not the federal gov’s job to solve a problem that’s been created by CA policies. Instead of being Sanctuary Cities, they could send the invaders home and give those houses to the homeless.

The irony is — Californians will be begging for help from the feds when there is an outbreak of the plague, typhus or any other pandemic caused by the filth they are allowing to pile up.
