Aunt Clara had a good run though. She was BORN in 1883! That was when Chester Arthur was our president and nobody had electricity in their homes yet. In 1883, no homes yet had telephones, radios or even flush toilets.
Yet Marion McDougall was born that year and would go on to co-star in an iconic "modern" television series as Aunt Clara.
Now that's just mind-blowing.
It's a shame about Elizabeth Montgomery however. Growing up as a boy, I fantasized about having somebody like her as a wife (without the evil mother-in-law) but she died so young.
Both Darrin's are dead (both of them Dicks)
Pretty much everybody on that cast is dead. Except for Tabitha. Who I didn't remember all that much.
Larry Tate....I think his name is David White...was on at least one Twilight Zone episode.
It’s amazing how many actors who appeared on The Twilight Zone went on to be cast in successful TV series that launched them to fame (William Shatner comes to mind. Also Carol Burnett, Nancy Kulp, Donna Douglas, and so many others).
Resistance is futile.
I believe that movie was shot in Utah.
Many people on that set eventually got cancer. I think it blamed on an above ground nuclear test.
I have a converter box rather than cable, and on station 5.3 I get the “Decades” channel.
They ran a “Twilight Zone” marathon all day and night on Independence Day. In early January, for four days, they ran “Twilight Zone” episodes from 9 AM - 9 PM every day, for all four days.
I think they HAD to replace Dick York.
The story I always heard back in the day was that Dick York was injured on a movie set long before “Bewitched.”
He was playing a WW II U.S. soldier, and in one scene he had to pick up a piece of heavy equipment with another actor.
Dick York injured his back....it may have been an old injury that acted up, I’m not sure. But the pain and back problems plagued him for years.
Toward the end of his life, they showed him on the news. He was of course much older, in a wheel chair, had a blanket over his legs, and oxygen tubes up his nose. It was sad.
Yet, despite his medical issues, he spent most of his time raising money to help other people. That says a lot about his outstanding character.
Just read Dick York's bio. I had no idea his life was so tragic. And I always wondered why they replaced the original Darrin Stephens with another actor (Dick Sargent).
Nah, not all that strange.
I used to know a gal who changed dicks all the time.
Had three kids by three different daddies.
The Twilight Zone with Agnes Moorehead was always one of the ones that scared me as a kid.
from the various wiki-wacky pages (mostly) -- Marion McDougall died during the run of Bewitched, in 1968. Agnes Moorehead (she drove the series, IMHO) died in 1974. Paul Lynde (close second to Agnes) died in 1982. Dick York died in 1992 in the Grand Rapids area, is buried in Rockford I think. Dick Sargent (the gay Darrin) died in 1994 (not of AIDS). Elizabeth Montgomery died in 1995 (colon cancer). Bernard Fox (Dr. Bombay) died in 2016 (!).
Is you for real?
Yes, the tiny space ship with U S Space Force on the front of it.
He was on the movie Titanic (1997) and looked the same as he did on Bewitched. Also on The Mummy (1999).
Man I woulda drank her slap up....
Dick York was no homosexual......married forever and even wrote a book of his love for her as she helped him with his addiction following his back injury....injured while working with Gary Cooper
Dick Sergeant was.....he and Mike Brady were in love
Of the top of my head, the following are still alive:
Burt Wart (Robin)
Max Baer Jr. (Jethro)
Billy Mumy (Will Robinson)
William Shatner (Capt. Kirk)
Ray and Dave Davies are neighbors now.
Reunion?

Iconic band The Kinks finally end 25 year feud and move next door to each other
The brothers have been just as famous for their bitter feuding as for their hit songs, similar to Oasis’s Noel and Liam Gallagher
