UPDATE 3—
Things are not good at this point..she started having contractions 2 minutes apart but doctor had a very hard time checking her because she was screaming from the pain. She is 30 weeks so the doctors have started steroids to try to help the baby’s lungs just in case they need to deliver. They feel at this point, with the pain she is in, she could not deliver vaginally so they would take the baby via C-section. Somehow, with whatever happened to her body pushed her into a diabetic state- she was not diabetic before- but now her blood sugars are wreaking havoc and the steroid shots, though hopefully helping the baby, are not helping with her blood sugars. Her mom and dad are having a very hard time watching this unfold.
I know with everything else we are hearing in the world right now (boat catastrophe, Texas, etc) maybe I am selfish for posting and updating...please forgive me ...the parents truly appreciate and are thankful for all your prayers!
Absolutely not selfish, and there's nothing to forgive. It's a good reminder to pray again. We're not stopping. ;-)

So sorry to hear this latest update of the pain Gracie is experiencing, but praying for a good outcome for both mother and child.

Prayers for everything mentioned, I believe God is big enough to understand all of our requests, even better than we do. We don't always know what his will is for us but... Jesus I trust in thee.

Dear LORD of all creation, I pray for You to take over this whole situation. It is an easy thing for You, for with You, NOTHING is impossible. We praise and worship Your Holy Name, and thank you in advance, for your mercies and miracles, in the mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
Our Heavenly Father is the ultimate multi-tasker. He can handle this situation along with everything else. Father, we stand in the gap for Gracie and her baby and her family. One word from your lips is all it takes. We boldly come before Your Throne zof Grace and ask you to intervene in this situation and speak healing over Gracie and her precious child whom you’ve knit together in her womb. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Not selfish at all!! Father we ask you that you take over this situation and stop Gracie’s pain, allow her to rapidly heal and hold this precious baby in her womb until it is far enough along so that it will be truly healthy at birth. In Jesus name we pray.

Nothing is to small for Him. the big and little are just in our frame of reference.
Never apologize for asking for prayer. This is serious business and very important and we count it a privilege to pray for her and the baby and the family

You are not selfish. The Good Lord encourages communication with Him. We have prayers for everyone who requests. Prayers continuing. In His Love, Sg.
