In 1982, Eddie Money had a hit on the radio and MTV with his song Shakin.
Today, most online sources cite one of the songs lyrics as:
We did some shakin til the end of the night.
But long before the internet existed, I knew that the words were something else.
The rest of this is redacted due to profanity. See link for the rest: https://danfromsquirrelhill.wordpress.com/2019/08/29/eddie-money/

No thanks, I don't visit blogs.
Especially your blog.
I suppose young'uns are going WHO?
Eddie is currently suffering from stage 4 esophageal cancer and is probably not long for this world. He could use all of our prayers to accept Jesus as his Savior if he has not done so already.
For those who wish to not got to the blog...
What you probably heard as
We did some shaking til the middle of the night
Is really
Her t*** were shaking til the middle of the night
Youre welcome.
Also wondered how it got past the censors.
Even Charlie Daniels' "Devil Went Down to Georgia" had a radio version that had "son of a bit** dubbed over as "son of a gun".
That's always what I heard on the song.
In post 4 I linked to the portion of the video that the article said it occurred. It is clearly “did” to my ears. I was in my early 20s when that song was popular and at that point of my life I probably could have heard the word “t*ts” somewhere in virtually every sentence I heard. I never heard it in that song, though.
I used to do the song in karaoke.
They listed the lyrics as we did some shaking
It was the same lyrics company that showed you son of a b!tch in The Devil Went Down To Georgia and Funky sh!t instead of Funky kicks in Jet Airliner, so I always thought I was hearing something that wasnt there.
Now we know.
This is an old trick. Listen to the Clash song where they sing “Rock the Casbah”. They aren’t always saying “rock”
Steve Miller’s “Jet Airliner”, 1977.
Some songs had edited versions for the public airwaves. In this day and age it almost seems quaint.
I always heard that as, "F*ck the cash bar." :-)
A couple minutes into Hey Jude:
“F-—ing hell”.Still there,
aired millions of times
Hmmm...I always thought he was saying “intensive shaking ‘til the middle of the night”.....LOL
At least RAP don’t allow anything so scandalous.
THIS is the entre Song Verse that is now missing whenever you hear Money For Nothing by Dire Straits on the Radio, even on XM / SIRIUS. No profanity, just more PC nonsense.
See the little faggot with the earring and the make up
Yeah buddy that’s his own hair
That little faggot got his own jet airplane
That little faggot he’s a millionaire
No, you don’t have to post it as clickbait. Here’s all you gotta do.
You’re welcome.

And Money recently verified to Rolling Stone magazine what I had known all along. Heres an excerpt from their recent interview of him. (The bolding is from the original.)
In Shakin, theres an ostensibly misheard lyric where you sing Her t*ts were shakin, but come on, you were definitely saying that, right?
You know what? Nobody noticed it and [my manager] Bill Graham was so, so pissed off at me because he said that couldve been a Top Five single, and you and your sophomoric f***ing b******t, now I cant get it on the radio. But when I talked to people, they go, I loved it when you said that! Wow!
You didnt make a clean radio version?
No, there was never a radio version because nobody caught it til the end. Yeah, I said it and I thought it was funny, but in the long run I wish I wouldnt have said it because that record probably wouldve went double platinum. But I thought it was funny. You know how it is, you know?
To get a song with tits in it played on the radio? I dont.
I was high. I didnt give a s**t. I said it. Who cares?
Heres the video of the song. Skip to 1:02 for the relevant part:
