Some Americans think that we need more sports teams/sports in America, that we need more revenue and entertainment.
What do you think?
How about shooting sports teams?
No more circuses. Animal rights fanatics have put an end to them.

We also need better books and more people reading the old ones. The epic ones. The ancient stuff. The classics. Some more recent but timeless. Our shallow culture is promoting too many spiritually and intellectually destitute young men especially...
Hence the mass shootings.

Better teach the parents and college professors before you get around to the youngsters. They learned their horseS somewhere.
It doesn’t matter what I or anyone thinks. It’s a business. If more people pay money to support it then it will grow ... if not it will shrink.
Professional Sports has become a complete turnoff for me, especially football and basketball. I enjoy watching the Little League World Series playoffs where REAL baseball is played without all the antics, circus acts, etc. I also like college baseball. College football has also become a clown circus for me.
I don’t think we need MORE professional sports if what we are seeing is an example of it.
We also need to stop teaching boys that their masculinity is solely wrapped up in sports. They need other healthy outlets or else we will continue to have epidemic of shootings.

Less major league, more local independent minor league. More fun.
By the traditions of Western civilization, athletics are an integral part of culture.
My parents taught me to work. Weekends I was sweeping dad’s shop, mowing the yard, cleaning a fence row, weeding the garden, then later mom taught me how to cook. Then dad taught me how to build a house, not legos but concrete, mortar and brick, sweat copper, copper wiring. Ocassionaly I’d get to go play fast pitch softball with my local church team. Then back to the garden or fishing or cleaning that damn fence row. Most of these young jerks don’t know how to work. They spend all their time sitting on their arses playing video games and smoking dope. IMO
Rich Lieberman (BayAreaMedia writer) does not think our Sports Talkers are all that great. He sorta like Tolbert. Not many else.

More entitled, spoiled, anti-American game players? Hell NO! There is already too many valuable resources given over to these pimples on the ass of time.
Technically with revenue sharing the pro sports operate on a different basis. The NFL only has teams like The Browns to extend the regular season and to keep competition out. Of the 32 NFL teams probably 8 of them would go bankrupt if not for league backing. We could then have a real free market in sports.
