Has this thread been approved by the NFL social justice committee?

...He’s not gotten clobbered like Ben over at Pittsburgh and some others..."

Most people who dislike Brady really like that GIF, but..I like it too because it show's he's tough and isn't afraid to take a hit if it helps the team in a tight spot, though that one seemed a bit foolhardy.

He's taken a few hits over the years...and the perception that he draws more roughing the passer calls than anyone else is not accurate...here are statistics from the NFL by quarterback since 2009 which are interesting nonetheless:

He almost never runs...
Yep, sprinting is the bane of "over thirty-fives."

Being 6th out of 40 ain’t exactly the bottom of the pile.

And he risked himself on this play but it’s a great reel because it’s the exception and not the norm.

It wouldn’t be worth watching if it was Wilson or other guys who do it too regularly for their coaches’ liking.

Brady doesn’t get hit nearly as often as most QBs. The organization makes sure he has a quality offensive line most years to protect him and he gets rid of the ball quickly.

The legs are the first to go. You see a lot of pitchers who seem to be fine at age 40. You won’t see any sprinters tho.

Watch the series “Tom vs. Time”. He does it by constant practice, rigorous exercise and a willingness to take instruction.

Chris Chelios played a regular shift as an NHL defenseman at the age of 46 in the 2007-08 season. He played two seasons in the minor leagues before retiring at 48. That’s a far more impressive display of longevity than anything I’ve seen from an NFL player, in my humble opinion.

The legendary Swedish defenseman Niklas Lidstrom was even more accomplished late in his career. He retired in 2012 at the age of 42 even though he was still in top form. He was a Norris Trophy finalist as one of the top defensemen in the NHL the year he retired.

He’s had a decent offensive line during most of his tenure with the Patriots. When Tom gives his speech at Canton, he should give a shout-out to the Patriots front office, for helping keep him off his back on the gridiron.

BTW, Eli Manning’s long string of consecutive starts at QB is something that deserves more attention—and praise. Since the Giants won their last Super Bowl eight years ago, Eli has played behind some terrible OLs, and managed to escape injury. An impressive feat, given all the blunders the front office has made.

He doesn’t kneel when the Anthem is played. Saves wear and tear on the knees.

Hall of Fame cornerback Darrell Green takes the cake for NFL longevity. The guy was still competing in the NFL’s Fastest Man competition in his 40s, and legend has it that he ran a 4.43-second 40-yard dash (faster than most active NFL defensive backs) on his 50th birthday.

Not the top of the pile either...other guys who want to do the macho thing regularly don’t last. It simply isn’t smart for the team, and those who try it rarely achieve greatness, and certainly not usually longevity.

Too bad for Luck, he had talent, but...was quite unlucky physically. He seemed like a decent guy, too. I admit, I hated that neck-hair beard on him, though. But a guy has to roll like a guy has to roll, neck hair and all.

-— Luck is walking away from 58 million of future money he won’t get. He’s still wealthy though. -—

Are you sure about that?
