They’ll push it to far and that will be it.
That’s the intent, to cause so much trouble that the border becomes unenforceable.
Once they are declared a terrorist organization (hopefully before someone is killed), what is rights of El Paso citizens, those few who are American citizens, to respond to them?
I think people here doubt that if that happened, they wouldn’t be smashed to pieces.
This isn’t happening in Los Angeles.
And once an agent was killed, hell would rain down on these freaks.

El Pasoans may vote leftist and love their mexican invaders, but unless things have changed a lot in the last (admittedly several years since I have spent much time there), they don’t much like troublemakers from the northern cities.
I wonder if Beto is involved in bringing them in, since his campaign for President has fallen apart.
Yeah, if they can fool enough complete idiots into getting them declared domestic terrorists then they will be able to defend their activities through lawfare.
Then they would be able to do great damage to the border.

An attack of this nature will qualify them to run for political office.

I’d bet Beto will be there or at least he’ll send a message of support.
One would hope that you are correct but DHS has told us in the past that we are to leave the area if antifa shows up and that we are not allowed to do anything if they damage our vehicles. We were also told that they would not back us if we were to get in a altercation with antifa members and were sued. I know these sounds unbelievable, but sadly it is the truth.
They'll be OK if they stay in El Paso proper where the LEOs can protect them but rural El Paso county has the "castle doctrine" and they use it frequently. After dark all bets are off anywhere.

I suspect the people counting on it, and the people who will actually get killed when it happens, are two distinct and separate sets of people.
Antifa is somebody’s suicide bomber... and we really should put very specific names on whose.
That may happen. Or, they may get a bit overzealous and get shot in the face by local law enforcement or the Border Patrol. It’s one thing to put a on a black hoodie and a bandana and throw some rocks or destroy something with a bat. It’s another to see your buddy’s head get blown off his shoulders.
Like the old saying goes .... It’s all fun and games, until someone loses an eye.
