Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Democrats and their toadies in the fake news media are once again trying to label President Donald Trump as a “racist,” this time because he had the temerity to point out the truth about the squalid conditions in the West Baltimore congressional district represented since the time of Moses by Elijah Cummings, who happens to be a black man.
Baltimore is by and large a hell hole, but it is not alone. All one has to do is look at the list of cities that have been run exclusively or almost exclusively by Democrats for the last half-century to see that Baltimore has plenty of company on America’s list of failed/failing cities.
That list would include Democrat-run cities like Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, New Orleans, San Francisco, Los Angeles and many more. Democrat policies and governance lead to the squalid conditions that characterize much of Elijah Cummings’ district in Baltimore. Democrat politicians do nothing to improve such conditions, and in fact work to keep them in place because the most reliable Democrat voter is a poor, dependent Democrat voter.
This is simply a fact of our American existence. It is nothing new. It is why a rank demagogue like Elijah Cummings, despite having never accomplished a thing in his entire career that improved the lives of his constituents, just keeps getting re-elected to “represent” them every two years.
Indeed, in 2015, Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders likened Cummings’ West Baltimore district to a “third world country,” and, standing with a group of Democrat city leaders, went on to say this:
“Anyone who took the walk that we took around this neighborhood would not think you’re in a wealthy nation. You would think you’re in a third-world country. What we are talking about is a community in which half of the people don’t have jobs. We’re talking about a community in which there are hundreds of buildings that are uninhabitable.”
After the same outbreak of street violence that led to Sanders’ visit to West Baltimore, President Barack Hussein Obama his own self referred to the rioters as “criminals and thugs.”
Oh.
But again, Baltimore is far, far from alone. Think of what we have seen from Democrat-run cities in just the past few years:
In San Francisco, the city council’s legalization of pooping and peeing on the streets have very predictably led to a huge downturn in the city’s convention industry, as conventioneers for some reason don’t want to walk down sidewalks filled with human waste. Hard to imagine, right?
Democrat policies encouraging an explosion in the city’s homeless and illegal alien population has already led to outbreaks of previously-eradicated diseases like measles and tuberculosis, and now threaten to bring back…wait for it… the BUBONIC PLAGUE. I kid you not.
Democrat policies in Portland, Oregon banning the police from doing anything effective to stop Antifa rioters have predictably led to… wait for it… MORE ANTIFA RIOTS. You just cannot make this stuff up, folks.
Elijah Cummings’ district is indeed by and large a squalid hellhole in which few people would ever want to be stuck living. The dirty secret that your fake news media won’t tell you is that is exactly how he and his fellow Democrats want it to remain.

For a period of time, I worked in DC, and had two or three people that lived over ‘near’ Baltimore. Whenever it came up in conversation, they would adjust the ‘near’ quote to being 30 miles outside of Baltimore. Everyone has this dream fantasy of old Baltimore (from the early 50s to late 60s). As cocaine got introduced, it started a long spiraling path. Gangs for the most part now...run the town, not the mayor or city council.
For once, Bernie see the truth.
Cummings has run his “plantation” and it’s “slaves” right into the ground strictly for his benefit. Not only is a good little slave owner, he’s also a fine example of socialism. And as stated above, he’s not alone in this. The other “slave owners” are just as bad. However, Cummings is one of the worst and why he’s been singled out.
Is it racist to say that a place is a “rat and rodent infested mess”, or is it racist to assume that blacks made it that way?
I would counter that Trump’s comments were “governist”...
...which is the real reason they hate his statements.
I would definitely add Milwaukee to that list. Without question.
The media wants to spin what Trump said about Baltimore as a “racist” issue. They don’t want to address the truth of his allegations.
As the Maryland elites cry foul, I suspect residents in Baltimore would agree.
Well that’s it, the racist Bernie has lost my vote...........
Democrat party is washed up it’s proved they don’t know how to govern but only know how to act like kids on a school ground and play grab ass and scream racist every time they don’t get their way.
They only know how to make America look like south America and operate the same way.
I think you can put Bridgeport CT on the list, thou I think most of Dem control CT cities are pretty good, still.

It’s not racist every time a white person criticizes a black person. That’s just not what racism is.
