Though some on the left deny it, their own words and actions only confirm the reality that white voters in “flyover country” have been written off by the Democrats.
The Washington Free Beacon reported on yet another instance in which a Democratic operative has all but admitted that fact.
That political operative is David Atkins, a regional director for the California Democratic Party, who posted a nine-tweet thread on Thursday accusing “rural white Americans” of being “ungrateful” for what the federal government had done for them while charging the same group of voters with being “whiny” and “bigoted.”

Rural white people look at San Francisco, LA, Seattle, Portland, New York, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Baltimore, Camden, Boston, Newark, DC, etc... and want none of what you are selling.

Since when does being ‘grateful’ mean I have to turn a blind eye to evil and corruption? Because that is all the modern Democrats have to offer these days.
As I’m a more or less “educated hillbilly” & from a “wide place in the road” in northeast TX, I can tell you that most of us “rural folks” & “rubes from flyover country” KNOW how the “big shots” from DC feel about us. = Further, we “rural folks” thoroughly DESPISE them.
ALL that those “leaders” care about is MONEY & MORE POWER for themselves & their fellow swamp-dwellers.

To flyover folks, ‘the government’ is a problem, not a solution. Flyover folks don’t take handouts when they can do for themselves. Flyover folks spend less time in shopping centers and social platforms and more time growing things. Flyover folks don’t have time to build grievances because they’re too busy building family values, self-sufficiency and Faith. And watching wackadoodle politicians like a hawk - especially the morons California is world-famous for.
