One Question Survey: Do you approve of Mitch McConnell? DEADLINE TONIGHT: July 24
(Excerpt) Read more at action.dscc.org ...
I forgot to mention: Full disclosure: I saw this on my Twitter feed, and as a concerned citizen I answered accordingly how I felt about the Democrat party.
I think McConnell ought to be primaried.
They could have had Matt Bevin as Senator last time.
I think so too, but please note: This is a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee poll. Hopefully McConnell’s district will vote him out the next go around.
“I think McConnell ought to be primaried.”
Another R candidate may not be able to beat the Dem, so you will end up with a Dem, instead of McConnell.
You need to look at the big picture and consequences.
It’s KY, the GOP hold both houses and the Gov.
Red states are where we need to primary out Bush League Republicans.
If we don’t, we all better learn Spanish.
They ARE making us into North Mexico.
Mitch is my Senator. When Matt Bevin ran against him I voted for Matt. Mitch is being primaried again this time. There have been times when I would have punched the lights out of Mich but I have moderated my feelings and forgiven much because of his remarkable work getting judges on a variety of courts. What he has done there is worth more than all the mistakes and I don’t know that any other person would have had the guts to do what he has done. If Bevin were running against him again I would again vote for Bevin but I’m not sure about anybody else.
Bevin has been a really great governor, I think he is Presidential material, but right now I am very grateful for Mitch McConnell.
Just based on federal court strategies since obunghole’s last year, IMHO he gets a B+...
How much help has he been with anything else?
One of the reasons we don’t have the Secure Fence we were promised in 2006 is Mitch, going back to long before President Trump ever ran.
If we don’t elect Senators that will side with the citizens and the rule of law, we WILL lose the country.
“primaried”
Maybe Mitch should just be an ordinary Republican Senator and a better fighter made Senate Majority Leader by Senate Republicans.
Sometimes otherwise good people get into positions they can’t handle.
He’s doing a good job with judges.
One of the most important things that’s happening in the Trump administration. Maybe the most important thing!
It can both set the stage & protect everything that Trump & those that come after him do.
Rather then mess that up leave him be.
Lurkinanloomin, i notice you think ALL Republicans should be primaried ... it’s all you ever post ... fortunately, most of the time Freepers have the good sense to simply ignore your posts, which is the correct response for a Democrat troll like yourself ...
Not all Republicans, just the Bush League Republicans.
I support Republicans that side with the citizens and the rule of law.
If we had more of those we would not have needed President Trump.
(not sure why you posted to Jim, are you attempting to tattle to teacher)
I’ll give him a positive. He’s the best we’ll get at present, and it’s Democrats asking.
You can loathe Mitch, as I do, but you can’t lay the blame on him for Trump’s colossal three strikes. One, his theft of my grandchildren’s heritage by busting our nation’s budget. Two, the jailbreak bill, which has released many, many violent felons. Three, his utter failure thus far to stop the invasion of America-hating welfare cases from all over the world.
Will I vote for him? YES, but it will be with a heavy heart, knowing that he has done very little to restore our former Constitutional republic.
“Not all Republicans, just the Bush League Republicans.”
yeah, but to you, ALL Congressional GOP are Bush League Republicans.
No there are a handful of Senators and maybe 30 in the House that side with the citizens and the rule of law.
If we want to keep our country, we have to do a lot better than that.
Without Mitch McConnell we would have a liberal Supreme Court. He saved our bacon with that one amazing move... and I’m grateful... forever.
I give him credit for blocking Garland, but he has been blocking US from securing the borders for a lot longer.
The Supreme Court won’t seem as important once we don’t have a country.
Mitch McConnell should be given the Nuremberg treatment for having “concentration camps” in the republic.
