It used to be that this whole “Ilhan Omar married her brother” thing was considered a “right-wing conspiracy.”
No one in the MSM would touch it, and everyone just brushed it off as some “racist” attack against a poor innocent refugee.
Well, local news outlets have been digging… and more information pops up that indicates that not only did she likely marry her brother… she’s committed both tax and immigration fraud.
As I mentioned yesterday, President Trump said he hoped someone would “look into it.”
Well, Tucker delivered:
“David Steinberg spent a decade as PJ Media’s New York editor. He has been closely investigating Ilhan Omar’s background for years since she entered public life,” Carlson began. “He’s cultivated sources within the Minnesota Somali community. He knows as much about Omar’s background as any reporter could know. Very few are interested, but he’s deeply interested and he should be. Just this morning, Steinberg released a piece on Power Line. In that piece he repeats the claim that Omar married her biological brother.”
Carlson continued: “And then he makes this stunning allegation, sourced to members of the Minneapolis Somali community: ‘In 1995 Ilhan entered the United States as a fraudulent member of the Omar family. That is not her family. The Omar family is a second unrelated family which was being granted asylum by the United States. The Omars allowed Ilhan, her genetic sister Sahra, and her genetic father Nur Said to use false names to apply for asylum as members of the Omar family. Ilhan’s genetic family split up at this time. Ilhan’s three other siblings, using their real names, managed to get asylum in the United Kingdom.'”
“Steinberg goes on to say Ilhan’s brother was one of those three siblings and that she was later legally married to this man, her biological brother, from 2009 until 2017,” Carlson stated. “It’s a shocking claim, so far it is unproven. Omar has denied the story, but she hasn’t disproven it. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Omar’s local newspaper responsible for a lot of fawning coverage about Omar, has tried to investigate the matter. They say they can neither confirm nor rebut the allegations. Omar is not participating. Last month, the paper noted that Omar has refused even to provide the full names of her immediate family. Let’s read that again, the paper revealed last month that Omar will not even reveal the names of her family. None of her relatives have come forward to comment on this, by the way. It is all bizarre, but it deserves to be investigated. There is far more smoke here than ever was for the idea that say, ‘the president colluded with Russia to rig the election.’ So, we’d like to know more.”

Her grandfather was named Omar. PowerPoint should be looking at how dhaylule became part of her brothers name. Somalia tradition if followed would mean that is his paternal grandfather..if I remember the convoluted naming procedure.

It's really not bizarre at all. ME immigrants have been doing this kind of stuff and worse for decades to cheat our laws. It seems our powers that be overlook certain immigrants for some reason, so it's pretty easy for them to cheat. Many times they'll pay an American to sham marry them so they get legal spouse status. I've seen that first hand personally.
Tucker Carlson is the most thorough, credible and insightful journalist in the nation and maybe, even the world, at present. He is courageous, he is honest and he loves his country. In my life, I can attach true intellect and good moral character to very few public figures, both men and women, and, watching Tucker over the years has convinced me that he is deserving of that kind of admiration. I always record his show because I know I will get the top analysis of the top news stories of the day right there and a good insight into both sides of any issue. Anyone who cares about the nation right now should give Tucker a try. He never disappoints.

A child usually learns about the anatomy of the opposite sex through observing a sibling during such routine activities as performing toilet functions, bathing changing clothes play or sleep which are performed mostly away from adults. The soft bigotry of lowered expectations has morphed into outright contempt for Western norms (such as abiding by the law); this was clear years ago when there were attempts to audit the finances of the Rainbow Push Coalition and the government couldn’t document much - records were missing or simply never kept - yet nothing was done. Any “normal” running an organization like this would have been fined, taxed, jailed, etc. - but we simply can’t have the same expectations of certain groups from other “cultures” (or no culture at all).

I agree with your assessment of Tucker. His is the only show on Faux News that I will consistently watch.
My only beef with him is that he often brings on the same clowns from the left and gives them a platform. We need to hear from the other side sometimes, but he give a group of regulars way too much time. That’s when the fast-forward button comes in handy.
Years ago, I watched Hannity, but I just cannot stand him anymore. He will not shut his fat mouth when he has a guest on. The husband will call me to see certain people because he knows I am interested in their work, e.g., Sara Carter and John Solomon, but I wind up yelling at the screen at Hannity to shut up. Again, the fast-forward button is a help.
At the very least, she is living under a false identity, and should not be allowed to serve in Congress on that basis alone. Likely can be charged with immigration fraud and fraudulent marriage. Meanwhile, her links to terror groups need further investigation, and are the most concerning of all.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve switched off Hannity when he says: “Tonight! A very special program as we’ll go after Russia-gate point by point...”
And, yeah, those bald leftist “guests” on Tucker are really tiresome. I mute them or turn it off when they come on. I have no desire anymore to hear some leftist idiot spout their talking points.
This may not be true. She claims her grandfathers last name is omar. His first name is in her mother’s name as is tradition. Omar would have to be the first name of her paternal grandfather though if following tradition. So the trail needs to figure out the name in charge of maritime as she claims her grandfather was.. I need a chart to keep up with the way they use names
