Can Donny Deutsch possibly mean this? Or is he simply playing to the Trump-hating echo chamber within which he operates? This afternoon, on the MSBNC show of that nonpareil Trump hater, Nicolle Wallace, Deutsch went on a demented rant in which he suggested that another Holocaust "can happen here."
Reacting to President Trump's tweets regarding The Squad, Deutsch said:
"We are heading to such a dangerous place. And guess what? You look at history, it can happen here. Maybe it’s the Jews next. Oh, oh, oh: I forgot, his daughter is married to a Jew. Who says? Who says? You know, I come from a place, I come from a group of people where it happened to, six million of them."

Deutsch attacks Trump as anti-Semitic. This is just knee-jerk stuff. It’s just words out of their playbook. I don’t even think they understand what they’re saying. It’s just “time to accuse the president of planning a Holocaust” according to their manual.
Well said. Within the main political parties, virtually all the anti-Semitism originates from Democrats, not Republicans.
At his rally in rural NC last night, Pres. Trump emphasized Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitism. The fact that the crowd reacted so strongly to that shows how anti-Semitism is rejected by most conservatives. If a Dem politician condemned anti-Semitism to a crowd composed of the Dem base, would it receive the same response? No way.
It could be him unconsciously trying to convince himself, or it could be a a more consciously dishonest attempt to convince other Jews, to stay onboard with the Democratic Party, as they become more deeply and obviously wedded to muslims and antisemitism, and the Republicans more obviouly wedded (literally Ivanka) to protecting Jews and Israel.
Either way, it is an argument in opposition to obvious realities.

We have also been seeing the growth of violent hate crimes against Jews. More than half of all hate crimes in the USA are now directed against Jews.
We have also seen an organized and directed increase in violent (what I consider to be hate crimes) directed against Conservatives as well (e.g. Antifa, groups stalking the homes of Tucker Carlson and Kirstjen Nielsen). Those groups were organized and trained over the course of years.
Leftist techies in Google and other companies openly choose to collaborate with Communist China (which has arguably put more people into concentration camps than any other in human history, and by far leads the world currently), and openly spurn collaborating with the US military (which liberated the Nazi concentration camps).
One minority group Trump is clearly OK with is Jews.

Freshman representative Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.), whose past anti-Semitic remarks have drawn widespread condemnation, is pushing a pro-Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) resolution in Congress this week.
Omar is co-sponsoring the resolution, which would affirm the right to engage in boycotts as a First Amendment freedom, with Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) and John Lewis (D., Ga.).
