"She has every right to sit down with her in any moment, in any time, with any of us. She is speaker of the House. She can ask for a meeting to sit down with us for clarification," she (Rashida Tlaib) said. "Acknowledge the fact that we are women of color, so when you do single us out, be aware of that and what you're doing, especially because some of us are getting death threats, because some of us are being singled out in many ways because of our backgrounds, because of our experiences and so forth."

The only thing of any consequence that WAS brought up for a vote was AOC’s “Green New Deal,” which was brought up for a vote in the Republican-controlled Senate. Mitch McConnell scheduled the vote for a political show, and it was a very successful show because it went down to a flaming defeat without even a single DEMOCRATIC vote.

Yes. I remember when colored people was offensive, and I also even remember when colored people was not offensive, and I am only 47, almost 48 years old.
It was not offensive for some period of time right before the term African American was coined.

I think the speaker should acknowledge “women who are raising their children alone because their husbands were killed serving our country at the hands of Muslims” OR acknowledge “women who are raising their children alone because their husbands were killed while protecting our cities at the hands of “people of color” OR “the women who have lived their lives alone for years because their soldier husbands were slaughtered in the streets of Mogadishu by Somalian thugs.” How about the widows of Benghazi, OR the families of 911, acknowledge all of them NANCY as victims of these women’s radical heritage which they are promoting in our country.
