Congress can’t find a way forward to address our illegal immigration problem because they don’t want to. That would be like shutting off the NPC voter spigot.
When you can’t even see your way clear to ask people if they are citizens on an official Census form – a concept that might have been considered not only non-controversial but essential as recently as 2 decades ago – you certainly won’t be able to solve the illegal entry problem on the southern border.
Maybe after Attorney General Bill Barr resolves the Census gridlock issue he can help Congress find a way to resolve illegal immigration too.
In a visit to South Carolina today, U.S. Attorney General William Barr said to expect the administration will present a legal path work-around that will allow a question on citizenship to be added to the 2020 Census.
Speaking to reporters after visiting a federal prison, Barr said “I think over the next day or two you’ll see what approach we’re taking and I think it does provide a pathway for getting the question on the Census.”
If all else fails maybe we could follow this guy’s idea on how to address a problem: if you can’t solve it, celebrate it’s birthday.

The pothole was fixed a few days later. Maybe we should try the same stunt with the border, only it’s not months, it’s years.

I told a couple former friends of my wife ten years ago that they can forget about ever turning all those illegals into voters because it ain’t ever gonna happen. The libtards think SS is the “Third Rail” but any attempt to turn 20-40 million illegals into voters is the absolute END of the USA.
I live in a blue city in a purple state and there are illegals in my neighborhood, if they are counted towards house seats, my census form will be burned in-front of the census taker.
I’m starting to notice that when hoards of illegals are busting down the door and getting away with it, fewer and fewer people are outraged.
The normal response now is to shrug the shoulders and sigh.
I hope you are right, but the rats want to end the USA as we knew it and the pubbies don’t care.
