Drinking a lot of water (8 cups) is highly recommended. Also, generally recommended to avoid eating spinach, rhubarb, chard, and beets.
Thats what I am wondering. Does he think the oil enters his bladder and greases things up?
I dont think there is oil in there.
Don’t say that to the anti-drug zealots of FR!
Did you know that people who refer to themselves in the third person are highly prone
to initiating pedophilia, general faggotry, gay parading and abuse of midgets?
_______________
Referring to yourself in the third person again, HG?
ROFLOL!
...and olive oil (to smooth its passage out of the body).
We cant pee olive oil. It never makes it to our kidneys or bladder.
I had a kidney stone in 1984 which put me in the hospital until I passed it - shaped like a small fish hook. Extremely painful until the IV Demerol kicked in.
...but enough about your personal predilections, Humblegunner. What are you trying to say?
“Like pulling a strand of barbed wire...” Ouch.
Anyway, good article. Things to do:
Avoid huge electrical storms. Drink lots of water.
Bill O'Reilly's nephew????
“”6 months of unrelenting just short of soldering iron rectal pain from a chronic fissure.””
Oh you too..............
Morphine. In copious amounts. I’ve managed to pass a few without assistance but odds are about 4 to 1 I’ll be surgery before it’s all said and done. Of course that’s the only option when they get to 17 (SEVENTEEN) millimeters. I was honored to be involved in the installation of the the first lithotriptor, in my area, knowing I would likely be a patient. I have yet to talk to a urologist who knew what caused them. Lots of theories but nothing absolute. Women have told me the only thing that makes passing a kidney better than natural childbirth is you don’t have to send it to college.
I have and been prescribed alinpurinal and had no gout nor stones for 35 years.
Might be related to Jimmy.
...a tincture of stonebreaker (Chanca Piedra) at the first sign of trouble. It only takes 1-2 droppers and no more pain. You can also use stonebreaker tea occassionally to keep the stones away. It also works for gallstones.

I have gallbladder *sludge* and DH has gout. Chanca works for these conditions as well. I day, 3 tablets (huge 800 mg)and the pain and other symptoms disappear quickly.
Hot, humid weather and overuse, in the case of gout, are always the culprits. DH had kidney stones once. We didn’t know about Chanca Piedra then.
Try having stuck gallstones.
Ouch!
ER dr lectured my hubby for 10 minutes before treating about diet soda being the cause. He was more irritating than the stone.
Not easy for a wife to know what to do when her hubby is writhing on the floor screaming in pain.
Drank it
Abuse of Midgets,,,
