Former Colorado Gov. John Hickenloopers senior team urged him last month to withdraw from the presidential race gracefully and run for Colorados Senate seat or pursue other opportunities, a source familiar with the situation told POLITICO.
The source said that the campaign only has about 13,000 donors, making it almost impossible to qualify for the next round of presidential debates in the fall. The campaign also only raised just over $1 million in the second quarter about what he raised in the first 48 hours of his candidacy and will likely run out of money completely in about a month.

I’m thinking it would be fun to predict who drops out first.
Damn, I was hoping Gillie would be the first to go
Maybe he could hit up Magpul for some contributions....oh wait.
He needs to remain as long as possible to draw away funds that would otherwise go to the others. Although, he isn’t drawing much of anything so I doubt it matters.
A million bucks he can do just about anything he wants with? Why should he drop out?
A non-gay or non-Marxist white man will never again be a Democrat Party Presidential candidate
You win. ;-)
>>A non-gay or non-Marxist white man will never again be a Democrat Party Presidential candidate
When was the last time they ran a non-Marxist candidate of any color? Truman?
People in CO are known for falling for almost any fraud that steps forward.
Isn’t he supposed to be the token “centrist” that the media always point to in an effort to pretend that the Democrat party isn’t only full of extremists? Who becomes the next “reasonable” voice, Amy Klobuchar?
My advice to Hickenlooper:
Try some combination of these:
1. Imply that Biden is a racist.
2. Get a gay boyfriend.
3. Claim that your high cheekbones makes you a Cherokee.
4. End each of your speeches with the phrase “Workers of the world, unite!”
Maybe somebody needs to tell him to go somewhere without telling anyone where, & then just stay there.
That was a different party back then.
Chickencooper? who?
That’s ok, the run was a sham to raise money and his profile to run against Cory Gardner for Senate.
JFK was many things, but I don’t think he was a Marxist.
I don’t remember Stevenson’s politics.
The Great Society had problems, but in the end I think LBJ was a crass opportunistic egomaniac, but that is not the same thing as a Marxist.
I don’t think Carter is smart enough.
